hey lovelies, i have been absent and suffering with writers block, because i disconnected with the hp universe... but i don't intend to give up on writing here or drop the account. what i wanted to say is, my account was blocked for the age verification thing, and i'm hoping it's a glitch that can get fixed without many complications. 😓 for context, i was born in 2004! so hopefully it'll resolve itself soon.

it came to my mind that one of mattheo's favorite movies EVER is shrek. lowk cried to it a few times too.

theodore's genuine reaction. i didn't find the ONE i wanted but theodore would look like a mf evil spirit. you did NOT say that. divination is literally the subject theodore hates the most, half because he thinks it's bullshit, half because he's actually scared that it might be accurate. the anxiety of losing someone important would kill him, i'm being serious. whatever functionality he acquired in pure survival mode, is thrown out of the mf roof.

genuinely will convince you to trade classes with him—no more divination for either of you... but then theodore is going back up all those stairs, to ask trelawney if you're safe or not. probably loses some lifespan in that conversation, and not because what she tells him, but because theodore doesn't think he can have a conversation with that woman.

might keep a look on the zodiac chart from those magazines pansy gets from muggleborn creators, connecting muggle beliefs with the wizardry knowledge of astronomy. eventually drops it after the anxiety lessens and theodore is once again convinced of how idiotic divination, and trelawney altogether, are.

on the other hand, hearing that comment during a dada class would leave him spiraling differently. that spiral might involve his hand bawling into a fist and a dry laugh before that clown of a student throws another joke... theodore doesn't play about you. but also encourages you to practice some defensive spells, and definitely pulls you behind him at any given threat.

THEY'RE ALL GONNA LAUGH AT ME but it's mattheo riddle expecting to be bullied or excluded during his first years at hogwarts, it's theodore nott reading more english literature to make sure he doesn't give more reasons for other kids to tease his italian accent, and it's lorenzo berkshire at fourteen, afraid that the other boys would laugh at him if he said that it was sexual assault, not something he wanted so soon.

i'm here thinking about ariadne and her expensive ways of life, and i think that she and theodore's italian side of the family are very alike. in terms of partying, you know? crazy expensive parties for every milestone, speeches about family (celebrating blaise, herself for being a successful single mother, her own mother for raising her and being the matriarch...) imagine being blaise's girlfriend and landing there. people speaking other languages, like french, and being a little lost there </3 ministry people, ambassadors, some celebrities too 😵‍💫

struggling with gastroenteritis but brainstorming about blaise because he's a soft dom (leads with trust, gentleness and arranges things for you to make your life easier. that is how ariadne raised him.) but that also means he won't ever ask for help. won't open up to you easily. won't let you solve his problems because those are his to solve... and perhaps he doesn't trust anyone to do so for him.
