YES! There is a general vibe, a Sonic , and a Shadow one! Sometimes people send in songs for me to add to the list + analyze, which is awesome!

For general stuff, such as how much I've written for the next chapter, will typically be updated on here! For in-depth process-related questions, I will likely be making a membership tier on my Ko-Fi for those curious about the BTS + actual snippets of the writing. Not sure yet! Will update this post in the future when I am sure though!

I don't know how to describe this exactly but I hope my fics have the same vibe as the Obsession soundtrack

I don't read too many longfics, but I try to keep up with everything SpicyChiliDogs writes since I love their style! A lot of my work is inspired by the feeling of wishing certain fics I read did something different/being unable to find a particular topic I'm looking for in the moment. If anyone has any recs, though, I'm all ears!

Aahh, life has been so busy atm. I have both TMIDWYTS's and IWYW's next chapter planned out, but finding the time has been difficult. ;.; Sorry, and thank you all for being so patience!

chapter 8 of It's What You Want is OUT now!!!

...Im a glutton for punishment bc a part of me wants to jump right into the next one. It's gonna be so good I CANT WAIT!!!

I keep watching it on repeat, I am OBSESSED its so good. I gotta hurry up with the next chapter so I can link it in the author's notes cuz the world gotta see it

I'm currently rewriting what I had for the next chapter of It's What You Want, but there is now an itch to start another fic (much shorter trust me its just for like one idea) and ugh I get too many ideas...

The new fic idea is essentially a body horror one to explore what a hybrid Mobians' "maturing cycle" would look like, all on the tenth anniversary of the Black Arms invasion. Its Sonadow of course and I dont really have a major conclusion but there's scenes I really want to put on paper because they seem so cool in my head. Idk if I should force myself to wait and fully plan this one since I don't think it'd exceed 5 chapters or just say fuck it we ball...

btw the next chapter of It's What You Want is done! Right now I'm just proofreading and will hopefully have it up by tomorrow!

We won't be in the present for this one, but hopefully it gives people some insight on a certain blue hedgehog before we continue forward~

Jet the Hawk in the first Riders game having this dynamic with Sonic where Sonic is just immediately ticked off by anything and everything he says was 10/10. It felt unique too since Sonic is usually that kind of character for others, so him being faced with this rival that just knows how to get on his nerves by being cheeky and unapologetic was peak. I feel like they've flipped that in the most recent iterations of the character's, which is FINE but I'm still kinda missing that. Jet gives the most "ex who hasn't gotten over the breakup" energy to Sonic I've ever seen it's really funny.

Wave is THAT girl. I always liked her small rivalry/super subtle mentorship with Tails. She respects him, but she doesn't let that show because that's not who she is, so she's harsh in a way that motivates him to do better. Love that! I also love that she's still her mean and snarky self in Crossworlds! Her interactions are GOATED! Also she has my favorite design of the three, she's serving so much looks it should be illegal.

Storm..... is Storm! I don't have much to say other than I liked his interactions with Cream and Omega in Archie's Treasure Team Tango. I love his design too btw I just have a hard time getting into the "dumb" character of a group but if anyone wants to convince me to see the light on him then let me know!

If you want my opinion on Riders as a game though I still think it's like... the third best Sonic racing game to date, right behind All-Stars and Crossworlds. It has the best sound design + it's story mode is fun asf + the air shoes are goated please SEGA add those to crossworlds plzplzplzplz-
