After the first year or two of dating Nim would start asking Zaya if they could propose. Zaya would keep saying no. Then, out of the blue a few years in, Zaya would propose. Nim would be kinda peeved, but would, of course, say yes.

Yeah, Sai is East Asian, Cupid is Latina, Astrid is Spanish, and Seb is biracial.
