Coltland twins AU based on something that happened to me in school:
Colt Seavers is a famous stuntman, known all over the country and everyone knows his face.
Ryland Grace starts his teaching job at Cleveland middle and he notices the kids whispering and pointing and he thinks he probably didn’t put on a clean shirt today. He did but he walks in and gets his classroom set up for the day and he doesn’t notice the group of teachers watching him in shock.
Cue the beginning of the lesson where Grace gets his students to calm down and one student raises their hand and he points to them. “Yes….uh….” He’s still learning names.
“Sam, Mr Grace.”
“Yes! Thank you, Sam. What is it you want to ask me?”
“You look like Colt Seavers…..”
“He does! Are you secretly him learning for a role?!”
“No idiot! Why would a stuntman want to play a boring science teacher?!” The kids start arguing back and forth.
“Guys my hand is up!” Grace raises his hand and everyone goes quiet and turns to him. “No. I’m not Colt Seavers. He is my twin brother.”
“He has a twin?!” They all yell.

I like to imagine that rocky and the rest of eridians just treat grace (+simon because hell yeah bloodymary) like rare species. They dont know anything about humans and they want to learn more, so they do in only way they know of.
Observing.
So when grace does something stupid like blow on ice cream or something they will be like: writte that down, writte that down!
They only have Simon and grace to observe, and they know that humans lives are short. So they will try to mate them. But they dont understand humans mating aka dating. So they watch movies that they Got from mary.
