Happy New Year!
Ocean’s 11 (1960)

I remember sitting in the showrooms, watching him onstage, and feeling enormous pride in him. It was really something fantastic to see the way people responded to him, the standing ovations he got and the autograph seekers crowding around him. I remember beaming as I read his reviews. - Dodd Darin
Bobby had a great sense of humor and put-on. I remember being at a screening at his house once. He went into the bathroom for a long time, and we kept waiting for him to come out. We finally went in, and there was nobody in there. He had crawled through this very small window, climbed along the ledge, came in through the kitchen, and was watching everybody look for him in the bathroom. It was hilarious. - Richard Bakalyan
It’s important to understand that Bobby had a phenomenal memory….. How could you not love this man? Thousands and thousands of people, and he remembers you. You were somebody special. He had that effect on total strangers, and when he listened to what you had to say, he listened with both ears, which is a nice quality. -Vee Walden
Happy Birthday, Bobby Darin | May 14, 1936 - December 20, 1973
I feel like I’m 15 years old, and that’s probably where I’m still stuck. Maybe that’s the secret, that I’m stuck at being 15, my soul, my energy. -Mary Wilson
[Mary] had a beautiful harmony voice with a great deal of warmth to it. She fit so well with Florence and me; she carried the exact sound just between the two of us that blended all our voices together, the sound that made up the perfect harmony so that we were like one voice. -Diana Ross
[Mary] showed me how to be a professional singer with a baby. She was an excellent mother. She had that baby on her hip and she could still do The Supremes swirl. -Susaye Green
Happy Birthday, Mary Wilson | March 6, 1944 - February 8, 2021
“Mexico is my mother; the United States the best friend I will ever have. And so I dream of the day when my mother will say, ‘Ricardo, you have chosen a wonderful friend.’ And the day when the friend will say, 'Ricardo, you have a sensational mother.’ That is why it is very important to bring us together. Brothers and sisters, love thy neighbor as thyself.” -Ricardo Montalbán
Rest in Peace Ricardo Montalbán (November 25, 1920 - January 14, 2009)
“Who am I? Probably someone who enjoys finding out every day, trying to guess what’s around the bend, and absolutely convinced that whatever it is, every day should be an adventure. Or course, I may end up as I did in the tienta, facing a charging pair of horns and asking myself ‘How did I ever get into this?’ But then I’ll smile because I know that not knowing is one of the special joys of living.” -Robert Stack
Happy birthday, Robert Stack (January 13, 1919 - May 14, 2003)
