My favorite music store had a sale on classic-pop CDs and I got these two divas for 35zł! Normally a CD costs 50-60zł, 70-80zł if it's a popular album. I got the most iconic Britney Spears album and my favorite Gaga album for 35! I actually almost fainted. And it was the last Britney CD left! Obviously people cashed in on this classic pop sale. There was so much good music (I love this store) I was hoping to find Kesha but someone before me was more lucky. However, 35zł for two masterpieces of 2000's-2010's pop is absolutely insane!

I also meet a girl who was looking for Gaga too. I helped her find "The Fame Monster". Honestly I'm shocked they didn't offer me a job at this point, I'm convinced I know this store better than some employees. Sometimes they misplace albums. Like putting Olivia Rodrigo on the punk section, and now people looking for Pop-Punk can't find her. This time, "The Fame Monster" was in the techno section. It's not only about knowing how sections are organized. It's also about knowing what music genre can me mistaken for what. I don't blame the employees tho, frist, obviously they're tired, second, even if you know a lot about music you can't know ALL albums. Sometimes covers/names are misleading, when I first saw the cover of "Cruel World" by Holly Humberstone I thought it's a metal/rock album lol

I'm actually so happy I could explode.

I was looking through my old digital camera. And as I was flipping through the pictures, I got to the end of the list. This was the last picture taken:

There were non-stop pictures from the beginning of 2014 to September 2016. It was such a huge part of my life. I took pictures of everything, from visits to the ZOO to instant ramen on a random Friday. I just took pictures when I felt happy. "Every happy moment is worth remembering" even it's small. This picture was taken on September 13th 2016. And then... I didn't pick my camera up again. Me, my sister, grandma, grandfather and cousin standing in a park. This was the last thing I decided was worth remembering enough to take a picture... and it's just weirdly melancholic... It's a strange and surreal thing to realize that we rarely know when we are doing something for the last time. I didn't take this photo thinking, "This is it, the final entry in the archive." And yet, it was. I don't know what happened, maybe I got a phone with a good camera, or had no time to take pictures anymore. Ultimately the reason doesn't matter, does it? This may be the last time I publish on this blog. Probably not, but what if. What if you did something today and it was the last time you did that thing?

Isn't it funny how unpredictable life is even when we try our best to archive, organize and remember. Everything will pass, and that's okay. Life will always run forward, and that's okay.

♡ What we know so far ♡

  • It will be an EP. But HYBE did confirm that a studio album is in Katseyes future.
  • It will include "Pinky Up" possibly "Internet Girl" and 2-4 NEW songs.
  • It will stay (loosely) in the aesthetic of the "Pinky Up" MV. Girly Brat vibes.
  • Members will be more active on Weverse, that including multiple live streams celebrating the new release.
  • Not all songs will have choreography. But we can expect at least 2 NEW choreos.
  • We don't know if Manon will be back for the Wild era. But Eyekons have hope she will be a surprise in the first show of the tour.

Though she's not on the poster, she is in the cast! Eyekons speculate she was on the original poster but was cut out to keep the surprise - possibly!

This is some great news!

The documentary will come out on August 12th, this news gives such a big boost of hope! Until then, we can only speculate, try not to hold your breath, we sure can't! 😭

♡ Katseye attended the documentary pre-premiere in LA on 26.08.06 ♡

In their red carpet interview they did address Manon being in the cast, saying;

"(..) I think it's so so beautiful. She is such an incredible, important, and beautiful part of KATSEYE's journey and will forever be. So of course she is in this movie, and like it's so beautiful to watch that and watch the journey as it happened, and also for all the EYEKON to see. I think they will be very happy"

Reaction among Eyekons is split. From those hoping Manon will be back and we'll be "very happy". To others pointing out the wording, and being skeptical. We'll see!

Quick pro tip:

When you're in a new space, like, after moving, visiting someone, vacation etc. Always ask yourself- "if zombie apocalypse starts now, where do I go for food, medication, improvised weapons? And where can I go for help?"

Basically;

  • Where is the grocery store?
  • Where is the pharmacy?
  • Where is the hardware store?
  • Where is the hospital?
  • Where is the fire station?
  • Where is the police station?

(Hardware stores are more important then you might think)

You don't need to be paranoid, but you do need to be prepared. A zombie apocalypse is a great thought experiment. If you don't know the answer to "what do I do if it starts right now?" you're not prepared, so you're not safe.

  1. Know where the important points are.
  2. Know exactly how to get there.
  3. Know another emergency route.
  4. Know approx' how long it takes to get there.
  5. Know the store layouts.
  6. Know how to use improvised weapons.

Loni, I hear Manon.

I feel like it may be confusing because Yoonchae is singing too? But I definitely hear Manon there. Sophia's voice is way more "sharp". Plus, I see Manon's voice there, plus Yoonchae. Yoonchae was always in "Touch" back vocals, maybe they fucked up the backtrack here? Hard to say with the audio quality. But I definitely hear Manon. That being said: Free my girl. We miss her.
