love when mine (and others’) gifs get reposted to twitter on an account that has nearly 50k followers that gets paid to steal 99% of its content from tumblr
at this point I should just get my own blue check and post all of my own work there too I guess
it is so frustrating bc gif makers and edit makers on this website are keeping fandoms alive and literally the ones generating the content that people so heartedly consume
but it’s also like. do I really want to create my own twitter for this? twitter’s user base (when it’s not bots and dead internet interacting) is so much unlike tumblr (ngl most even real people on there seem incredibly thoughtless) that it seems like too much of a hassle. can’t win!
like this really shouldn’t even be a big deal but it takes time and work to create these things and I don’t think most people on the internet realize that. what I enjoy most about posting my gifs on here is curating a blog of things I like and reading comments and tags from other people. so yes I do this for the love of the game and internet likes
