This happened to my flatmate and her father, and when I heard it I felt it was something that fit here. They had gone for lunch at Cafe Rouge near George Street and really liked the music (Anna's father is a musician). The waiter who brought the cd over for them to write the name down said they could take it home and bring it back when they were done with it. Not the biggest of inspiring stories, but it means a lot when you're in the city during the Christmas season and everyone seems concerned with just getting to the shops, spending their money and getting home. Apparently, the waiter was also a pretty nice looking French guy!! :)

[2] remembering to open the blinds before I go to bed so I am greeted by the warm sun the next morning
[3] driving into the direction of the sun in the late afternoon
[4] my chihuahua sleeping with me - he jumps on my bed every morning, greets me with a hug (yes, he literally hugs me by burying his head into my neck repeatedly until I squeeze him back), and curls up against me - I love the feel of his warm fur against my tummy.
[5] the extraordinarily amazing and profound writing, on this season in particular, of The L Word (one of very few TV shows that I don't consider mind-rot)
I just put all the community posts into the memories (sorted by who posted the entry) and I am really loving the fact that LJ automatically tells you when an entry has already been put in the memories, so you don't lose track and end up redoing a whole bunch!! Anyone has any comments about the memories, or spots a mistake, let me know :)
So I wandered into the kitchen and ate a bowl of cereal for breakfast. But afterwards, I was still extremely tired. So I just climbed back into bed and fell asleep.
talking to random, friendly strangers always makes me feel happy...also, getting asked to fill out a survey for 18-22 year olds!!
(mod insert: I've been thinking about categorizing posts in the memories. If anyone has any suggestions, leave a comment or send me an email, otherwise I'll set it up however I feel like - could be reverse Russian alphabetical order! you never know!)
