After taking a poll, the decision is to put fiction back slightly aside in its original place and have this real-life organization go by the name of the Origin Consortium in all applicable places, while the Origen Consortium remains an arcane society founded by Renaissance philosophers and occultists. Will change listings accordingly, as much as feasible with the various website systems being used. In this case there's not room for either full name in the textfield last I checked...will amend if I find that that's changed.

It's been a long time since there was much interest in the Origen Consortium from anyone not already closely acquainted and implicated in the convoluted course of history. And yet I am loath to let any worthwhile group online be euthanised on account of lack of interest....and this could be a very worthwhile place with a bit of actual conversation.
But for now.....temporarily deserted by most of closest cohorts - I'm just watching the door. More later.....
...or at least, here I am. Not really alone, just the one out in front, setting up the space and laying the table, as it were.
Anyone who's on LiveJournal, this is the local outlet/inlet for the tellingly-but-not-too-directly-named Consortium, and if you are already a member of the main venues (spaces on Yahell, Proboards and PBWorks, plus the new threshold group on Dreamwidth), then I hope you will join here also to keep involved and see what is going on and what can/should be done in all areas.
If you're on LiveJournal and this is your first encounter with me/us, then a little getting-acquainted time is necessary (quality matters over quantity) before being formally invited into those inner-sanctum areas. We've had issues before with lack of sustained interest or kindred-mindedness in our various groups, not to mention outright conflicting loyalties and backstabbing, so don't take it amiss that there's not an instant smorgasboard of full confidences laid out upon entering here, or even instant acceptance here to begin with. If this were a totally public or open-admittance group, you would find me a very silent facilitator indeed, and such has been the case before whenever mutual trust was not sufficiently assured.
