hearing sheriff harry s. truman say "he's been in there for ten hours" for the first time was like getting shot in the chest

I love Truman so much because every day he has to clock into work only to hear Cooper say something like “Last night I was visited by a paraplegic man in a top hat and he told me that the northern fish see no lies and whisper no truths,” and Truman just has to go “Ok Coop” and trust whatever the hell he’s talking about

I’ve always LOVED coffee, but after starting Twin Peaks I feel like I can enjoy it in a whole other way now. Every time I take a sip, it’s like, Diane, It is currently 1:17 in the afternoon and I am enjoying, if I may say, the finest cup of brew I’ve had since I’ve entered this quant and cozy little mountain town. It reminds me of a dream I had last night; an old and weathered Tibetan monk approached me somewhere within the Appalachian mountains and offered me a cup of Joe. He told me not to take it with cream or sugar; I told him I never do, like it black as it comes. I distinctly remember thinking it was the best coffee I ever had. You know what would make it all that much better? A good old fashioned slice of cherry pie with a fat serving of vanilla iced-cream on top. Agent Cooper, out. Harry, would you be a dear and check if are there any donuts left in the squad car? 

i dont even care at all its just that i think that harry truman would take dale cooper to his house late one night because they're both tired from working and dale doesn't mind the great northern but sometimes it's a bit much to deal with and plus also harry's got this great lookin' bottle of whiskey he's been dying to break out. so harry takes dale home and sits him down and pours him a glass and turns on the radio and it's playing "i hope that i don't fall in love with you" by tom waits and dale laughs to himself, and harry stares at him with those big eyes and after a second he asks dale what's so funny. and dale says something like: "oh, nothing, sheriff. i just remembered the first time i heard this song, it was in this beautiful, quaint little gay bar--" and he would catch harry reacting to that, and cut himself off and stand and say: "is that interesting to you, sheriff? go to a lot of gay bars yourself?" and just as he would say that, the line in the song that goes 'well the night does funny things inside a man' would play, and harry would do a little cartoonish gulp and just stare at an ever-approaching dale cooper, who would take hold of harry's arm and take his glass from him and set it down so that he was able to take hold of dale's waist...

anyways how yalls days going?

My two types of shipping is, "Oh these characters are fun individually and have cute moments together/an interesting dynamic. Also, they're definitely not going to be canon, but I also see them platonically, so I'll just enjoy the fics". And the other type is, "Oh my gosh I think about this ship constantly, they are endgame. I mean, did you see how character a looked at character b for a millisecond, they are in love and idc if they're toxic".

Or the third type: crack ships that are purely enjoyed based on their potential and fan theories
