Tricia Helfer signed message for Charity

Hello all!!

While appearing at NYCC in 2010 Tricia was kind enough to donate an autograph to be auctioned off for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. In addition to helping people living with HIV/AIDS BC/EFA is also a major supporter of The Actor's Fund (which helps members of the entertainment industry during times of crisis) and the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative (which helps women in the entertainment industry w/preventing and living through Breast, Cervical and Ovarian Cancers).

Tricia personalized the message adding "Let's beat this thing!"

This item is 100 percent tax deductible and every dollar raised can help people who may feel there is no help to be found.
Please consider making a bid HERE.

I also have created a small store on Zazzle with BSG & AIDS & Breast Cancer support merchandise HERE. All profits will also be donated to BC/EFA.

And if you would like to see my fundraiser it is located HERE.

Thank you so much!!

I want to apologize for the apparent spam we've been receiving in this community. I know the community hasn't been active recently, even though Tricia has been starring in a new series (which I haven't watched yet, sadly).
I'd like to keep this community open for all members to post in without moderation or a queue, especially since I haven't been too dedicated to updating.
Thanks for your understanding, and I hope too many members didn't leave because of this.

Tricia Update

From Tricia's official blog/website:

Subject: Tricia's on Facebook, MySpace and Twitter!
Date: Monday, May 10th, 2010

Hey Everyone,

Just a quick note to say hello and to inform you of some website news. Finally, I'm going to have official Facebook, MySpace and Twitter accounts.

Facebook: www.facebook.com/officialtriciahelfer
Myspace: www.myspace.com/triciahelfer
Twitter: www.twitter.com/trutriciahelfer

We are also currently undergoing a website update in the hopes of being more up to date and interactive!! I'll be doing a few audio chats for the chat section. I know I've been pretty quiet with answering questions so I hope with the audio chats I'll be able to get to more of the questions.

Now for a little personal news: The beginning of the year had me pretty low key as I went through extensive back surgery Dec. 14th. I spent my holidays recovering and now 4 1/2 months later, I'm filming but still in the recovery phase. I had 4 discs replaced with artificial discs (2 cervical and 2 lumbar) so now, all you BSG fans...I'm part robot!!! If I get up the courage one of these days, I'll post my new back x-rays to show you all my new parts. And no...they don't glow red :D

On the work front, I've been filming away on my new series "Dark Blue." I love my character, Special Agent Alex Rice, and I'm having a ton of fun playing undercover FBI. The show premieres on TNT August 4th, so all you OLT's be sure to tune in!!

Kitties + Tricia = Love!

“Tricia has really been a blessing for Kitten Rescue,” says Ben Lehrer of Kitten Rescue. “Not only has she been incredibly generous in both her personal contributions and in helping with our fundraising efforts, but she has been more than willing to delve into the trenches of street rescue and take on litters of abandoned kittens herself. Her selflessness and enthusiasm are remarkable and we are very fortunate to have her as a member of our team.”

Pet News and Views posted a nice article about Tricia and her work with the Kitten Rescue organization she works with in California.
