Based on the prompt ‘Revival’, this is my creative take on Raven’s semblance and how she might’ve tried (and failed) to reach Summer through it after her death. Hopefully the bg comes across as comic panels with Raven’s portal breaking through to reach Summer!

The death in the family

no thoughts just the progression of Theon not even trying to help the captain's daughter (whose name he won't even think) → Theon trying and failing to escape with Kyra → Theon successfully escaping with Jeyne??? and all the women are victims of sexual exploitation (the first two by Theon himself)??? and he only succeeds in escaping once he starts identifying himself with whoredom. a triumph of solidarity. the arc of all time.

Worst types of "rebellion" storylines in fiction:

1. Things used to be good and utopian and everyone was happy until some asshole came in and made them bad for no reason other than that they're evil. So now me and my scrappy, ragtag underdog team of lovable misfit traditionalist establishmentarians are going to take them on to restore the proper order of how things always were and always should be
2. This minority has been oppressed and brutalized since the dawn of time, and for the first time ever now there's a group of them fighting to be equal. But get this, they're insaaane. They're crazAAaay. insaane. asylum. And it turns out they're just doing random violent things for violence's sake. So now me and my scrappy, ragtag underdog team comprised almost entirely of the pre-established oppressor class except for maybe one token Good One are going to take them on to put them in their place and make everything nice and peaceful again
