In Atelier 801 games, you can play as a guest without registering by logging in without a password. Guests are identifiable by the asterisk (*) which precedes their name. The following are not available:
- Writing in café (although can read)
- Sending messages that are not chat commands (although can see the chat)
/facebook(the chat command that gives 20 cheese)
- Friend list
- Tribe
- Profile
It is also possible to get more than 100 cheese as a guest, by completing the buy a shop item daily quest, and then you'll have to use the cheese coins you get, resulting in a total of 125 shop cheese.
Transformice only
In Transformice, the default guest name is Souris ("mouse" in French). Like registered players, guests start in the tutorial. The following are not available:
- Earning cheese (although they start with 100 and the shop is available)
- Map Editor
- Fraises
- Skills
- Email validation
- Using letters or paintbrushes
- Trading consumables

Trivia
- Guests are astrological cheese #1.
- Guests can chat only in strm rooms.
- Guests could whisper from 23 January 2011 (V0.135) to 25 January 2011 (V0.136).
- From 13 February 2011 (V0.140) to 17 April 2011 (V0.151), guests couldn't enter the hole first and were killed instead.
- From 9 July 2014 (V1.177) to 14 August 2014 (V1.181), guests could trade.
- From 2 January 2016 (V1.277), guests could access the shop.
- From 10 May 2019, guests can no longer send letters.
- From 25 March 2022 (V1.693), guests can no longer use paintbrushes.
