Welcome to Tenipuri Maximum Security Prison, Japan's new and highly praised correctional facility. Here Warden Hanamura Aoi has set up an experimental cell block community where inmates interact and work freely, though despite the positive view the public has been given, life within its thick walls is far from perfect. Drug trade and inmate fractions cannot be eliminated, and all the inmates in TMSP struggle to fulfill their own needs. Some fight for power, others want money, and the rest-- corrections officers and inmates alike --simply want to survive long enough to make parole, or even to see tomorrow.

Rules:

1. RESPECT your fellow players. Drama is good between characters, not people.
2. NO GOD-MODDING. Unless the other player says that it’s okay. Players have the final say over their characters.
3. On banning: if other players send in complaints of misconduct about someone (i.e. breaking the rules) or you’re just being stupid and not taking this seriously, you will be asked to leave the RP.
4. Three characters per player. (MUST BE: 2 inmates, 1 staff)
5. PLEASE inform one of the mods if you’re going on hiatus or are dropping a character. Or better yet, inform everyone by posting it up on the OOC Comm.
6. If you do drop a character, please leave that character’s personal LJ and password with a mod, so we can give it to someone who’s interested in picking that character up.
7. REMINDER: This is an AU RPG. You can change a character's history/background all you’d like, but please keep their personality relatively the same. Though everyone does have their own interpretations of the characters and their own writing styles, so KEEP AN OPEN MIND.
8. REMINDER #2: This RP is shounen ai/shoujo ai/yaoi/yuri friendly! And will contain violence/violent and drug related themes.

***If your character is an inmate, they are assigned their prison sentence, prisoner number, cellmate and institutional job upon acceptance. Your character can always request changes to either, which will have to be approved by the Warden, but these requests are not always met. Also, after you are accepted, make a character journal, join the communities, and add your bio to your user info.

~ Hanamura also takes in special cases for transfer into TMSP: inmates who have no need to be in a maximum security institution, but are kept as special, control subjects.
