Zim and I just fixed the pinball machine in the Java Joint.

The pinball machine is free, but the repair bill came to around $70, which I paid out of pocket. Hopefully Belcon will be able to reimburse me, but if not, donations are requested. Just drop some change into the slot when you play, you don't have to, but it would be much appreciated.

I have too much stuff. More specifically, too many clothes. So I've been swearing copiously and putting in a box.

There's a give and take box up on third floor full of clothes and a few shoes. Some of it awesome (and I hate to give it up) and some of it sucks and prolly should just get thrown away. Regardless: Free clothes on third floor.

Now I weep.

So, I have read that the sign in front of Wood D has been stolen again.  Perhaps it got broken, or perhaps.... faires took it away to a happy place. 

If it was stolen, however I have a suggestion.  Why doesn't BSFFA stop displaying orginal art, and put up some sort of hilarious sign instead so that if it gets stolen again It won't induce mourning.

How about:  This is the thrid time we've had to remake a sign that someone on the  Beloit College campus has stolen.
Or (and I'm not serious about this one) You laugh now... But will you be laughing when I crawl out from under your bed?
Or: Every time you steal our sign, a crappier one gets made
Or: General meeting time and place ie:  Wood D Smoking Lounge 5:00 every other Sunday
Or something else.

I know I was really upset when the sign was stolen when I was living in BSFFA.  Since it looks to be an ongoing thing I suggest becoming a bit less invested in it so that when it goes away it does not make BSFFA  very very sad.  And perhaps drum up some interest in vandilism on campus. 

It might make BSFFA sign stealing more  popular.  But then other signs can be made to say say:  "How 'come no one steals BSU's Sign?"  Or "Contribue some cash for the paint, stealers!"  or "It takes more talent to keep inking  (or thinking up) these signes then it does to steal them"

Just a suggestion.  Feel free to discuss.

Really, just go through the site, find something that needs help, send me something to fix it!   OR    Find something that needs help, get someone else to draw/write/do something, send it to me to fix it!

I don't have the time to work on this thing much more, so this poor site will remain empty without help from you guys and freshman hazing.  Anything helps!  Even if it's a 3 sentance description of what a boffer is.  Or a link to a cool site.

So this is something I've been thinking about for a while now. Women gamers. We've got a lot of them, and a lot of really good ones. So next year, I want to run an all female campaign. No more being the obligatory boobs in a group. I'm serious, no boys at all. I'm not settling on players now, I don't have plot, or even a system.

This is where the women of this club come in. Who wants to play? What would you want to play? When? Should I save slots for first-years? What about those lovely ladies who'll be abroad first semester, but back during second semester? What about hilarious dual-run games, one all ladies, the other all men?

Systems I'd be cool running in (at all. Feel perfectly free to bring up other systems; I'm not opposed to learning new rules):

Shadowrun (4rth ed)
Exalted (2nd ed)
Legend of the Five Rings
Changeling? (I don't know it, but some of you do)
Vampire something or other
7th Sea
Traveller (I totally might be into a space opera...Anyone know a better system than this?)

Unknown Armies (bedamned if I know anything other than that it's cool)

I've got a summer to come up with some really good game for people, so talk to me. I'll probably bring this up again later in the summer in order to remind us all of the possibility.

**Edit** Actually, even better than thinking of systems, think of what you want to play. If you want to be a Gothic team of Ninja avengers, animate children's toys, superheroes/villains, space cowboys, Israeli commandoes, whatever; I will find a system to fit it.

Hey everybody!
Who's going to be around this summer for games? I am willing to run one and would love to play in a few.

I have decided to do the work to make one happen. I have also talked to a variety of people and have made a decision about location and time and date.

I would like to have the party in Tower D, on third floor on Tuesday night, last night of finals. If you live on 3rd floor and are not ok with this, you should respond below or email me. I have talked to a convenience sample of in-housers and all have been excited about the prospect.

Music: We need speakers and a computer. I can get my computer to campus if someone is willing to house it in their room on Tuesday night. I would like to borrow speakers as well if anyone has speakers good enough to make a party happen.

Security: We would need to have 3 people at all times "securing the party." This means one person at each entrance to 3rd floor and a 'floater.' The time of the party will be 11-2, and we need 9 people to agree to work security.

If you have any interest in giving me the gift that keeps on giving - an after party hangover and a fun last BSFFA dance - please sign up for security with a comment below. It will for-realsies mean a lot to me.

This is not an invite only party, and it is not a campus advertised party. I will provide little paper hats for the seniors, and refreshment of some thing in terms of food and soda.
