We're still a few hundred short on the rent for this month, and while I did manage to sell a few things (thanks Cortney), there's been no interest in anything else I posted. I sometimes wonder if I should just toss everything I have in the trash, since it seems like I can't find any help and it'll go there anyway if we do get evicted...

At least I turned in the rest of the info for food stamps, but that dosn't help pay the rent or other bills we have. Plus next paycheck has to go pay for some bills like my car insurance and the next month's rent (assuming we can get this month paid off).

I have been looking for different jobs still, but I'm just not finding much that would be favorable for my schedule and all. Sometimes it's hard to go into work and seeing people buying stuff all over when I'm trying to support my brother and myself(his hours are getting better and not cut anymore, but still...)

I know things would get better if we could just get things caught up for this month, but so far that's not looking favorable.

My first post in a few months.... and it's mainly to sell stuff...

But yeah, things are getting really nuts since I have had medical issues(for one I have chronic colitis) and now medical bills are hounding me, to the point that one of the debt collectors decided to take me to court for about $2000 or so on debts they want me to pay, but of course that I can't afford to pay, not with rent and monthly bills. Luckily Wis has a special debt consolidation statute I want to take advantage of(3 yrs of no-interest payments to pay off my medical debts with no wage garnishing, hounding, or anything like that), but to file for that statute I have to pay about $450. I found an attorney who can help me file, but I need to pay him that amount first. So I have that and rent to take care of for my next check, but I'm worried I won't have enough for both, and groceries/gas.

So here's my list(so far, I'll add more later), if anyone has any questions about it (like more details or pictures), or is interested, please contact me. Here's a link to my facebook page album which has pics of what I'm selling.

oh, hey, hi... ^_^

Oh umm... hello that's right.... Maybe I should stop being on facebook so much... (yeah right...)

Well, for one thing, that's where I ususally conduct stuff online, like the Anisatsu podcast group and my projects, which I'm still working on.. It's also where I found out one of my fav actors, Ebisawa-san (who was Gunpei in Go-Onger) is set to be a supporting cast member in Kyoryuger as Kyoryu-Black's friend, which makes me go YAYS and honor this post with one of my Gunpei icons.

Anisatsu is being fun, and you can find us talking on a number of different shows and topics (like tonight's recording will be like last week's podcast, but on Top Super-Sentai themes instead of Kamen Rider). If anyone's interested, they can be found on podbean or itunes. ^_^

I have to say I'm still working on translating projects(especially for a certain red-and-silver group of giant heroes ^_^), and it's going somewhat well, though I'm still putting out the call for anyone who can maybe check over my work and make sure the Japanese looks all right. In fact, there's a project or two I've been working on, but have had to put on hold since I know there are some lines that need help. So if anyone can help me, please let me know? Onegai shimasu?

One other thing that I'm sorta prepping for is a trip to CA in April. There's a convention that I'm hearing about, and a few of the guests have me very excited. The guests are: Kurobe Susumu (yes, Hayata from 1966 Ultraman!), Sakurai Hiroko (Fuji from 1966 Ultraman), and Bin Furuda (the suit actor from 1966 Ultraman).

Other than that, not much else going on beside working and poking at stuff, including still at a certain online game called WoW...

Shadobe touch to Henshin, Shadobe touch to Henshin!

Sorry, seem to have migrated over to facebook more, though I don't really post a lot there either...

Work's been hectic, esp since it's cold and flu and all season.

I did watch all of Kamen Rider Fourze, was pretty good, but it's not really enough to get high on my list, maybe 5th place tied with Kiva. I am liking KR Wizard more though, esp since Haruto is pretty funny, I do like the Scatting-Belt which says 'Please!', and the characters are being developed well, as well as the story.

Getting ready for Daisho-con in a month, and already poking at stuff for ACen next May. Dunno if there's much else going on though.

Since duh, I DO have a livejournal still and all... >_>;;; Sorry, been abducted by WoW-crack mostly, RL work and stuff, and whatnot else...

I'm kinda working on Ultraman still at times, but, and I dunno why, the eps seem to be including more and more technobabble as the series goes on. Not much else going on, other than me being now in a podcast too about tokusatsu stuff as well.

Gonna try to pop more on at times, but it's easy to be distra--oooh SHINY THINGS *runs off* (and yes, it's getting to be like that sometimes...:/ )

In regards to the whole ddl-issue going off-line, I can see the reasoning for it, but I won't let it stop me translating. As I've mentioned before, this is more of a personal training thing for me since I want to keep up with my Japanese studies. But even with my books that I have, using visual medium, especially if it's something I like, helps me with refreshing my vocabulary and grammar.

And also, if anyone catches a mistake I've made, please let me know? ^_^

Getting ready for the interview next month, I'm pretty sure I'll do well, but have to see. Still wondering what I can do for the presentation part, as well as a few other things...

Last Fandom of 2011: Ultraman Dyna and Cosmos(though I'm still translating Jack), plus KR Fourze

Also, things I'll remember from 2011: the Japanese quake and tsunami; the many tornadoes that hit places like the Southeastern US and Joplin, MO; the tokusatsu series I've seen; plus other things that went on.

Went back to working on Dyna ep 3 a bit more, and I'm still working on eps 15-16 more. Hoping ep 10 and 11 will be done soon, but have to see.

translating, and YAYs Hobbitses

Wow, already almost through December... Time's gone by fast, though I think work, translating, and various health issues kinda spurred that along. At least one problem tooth has been extracted, as of last weekend.

And with that, I've once again begun work on translating. Eps 13-14 are roughly finished, and I've started on eps 15 and 16. They're not two-parters, though I see ep 16 is two-parted with ep 17. Why I've started on the two is that ep 15 is a bit rough in terms of slang and redubbing, so things aren't really so clear for me(at least on what I have). So I've been also working on ep 16, which is quite a bit easier.

Not been watching much else, due to work being busy and my health stuff, but I'm still keeping up on Fourze. I will watch Gokaiger at SOME point(since I stopped watching.... early 20s for the eps?), but right now my free time is being taken up by poking at stuff and translating. Still kinda looking for a full-time job, as well.

And I can't help but fangirl over the trailer I just saw tonight for the "The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey" (part 1 will be out Dec 2012, and apparently part 2/'There and Back Again' is scheduled for Dec 2013). It looks so cool already ^___^

meh, but a bit of toku

I'm so very neglecting this, I know... But I've been very busy, since Daisho-con was last weekend, and work's been so busy and stressful. -_- I did have fun at the panel where I discussed some toku stuff, and I also got to dress as Takayama Gamu from Ultraman Gaia. I do have pics, but not really uploaded them on my computer yet.

Still have been poking at Jack, one half of the two-parter is roughly finished and needs so much work, and I've gone ahead to work on the second part. I'll have to write when I can about Fourze, I do like how the Club has come about already, though I still havn't watched ep 11 yet.

Have to work the next four days, and I'm kinda being meh about it, esp with the 'holiday muzak' they HAVE to insist on playing... which repeats two or three times a day. >___< Collapse )

I dunno, ever since a few years ago, this time of year is pretty sucky and stuff lately is making me drown in wallowing even more than usual... :/ Sorry to go off in one of my first posts in a while, but...

Ultraman stuff, and random other things

Wow, been a while since I've written on here, but I've been fairly busy with work. Since it's getting into the winter months, work has become busy with cold/flu/associated customers.

When I've been able to, I've been translating more. We managed to get ep 8 of Jack out finally, so I'm happy about that, and now we're working on editing ep 9. For my translating work, I'm up to another two-parter, 13-14, for RoU. I've also been poking at Dyna as well, though I'm not sure when we're working on editing that yet. Almost done watching Tiga, btw, but I'm trying to get that done before I do Dyna full-time, since the two series are somewhat linked in certain aspects(like the Maxima system and the planes). Hoping to do that today, unless I get poked to help with editing or something.

Kamen Rider is still pretty fun, though I've not yet seen ep 9. I may wait on watching it since there's a break in Kamen for next weekend's ep. Despite me not yet caught up with Gokaiger eps, I went ahead and watched the Go-Onger eps. I was really happy to see Sousuke again, along with the three Core-Engines, but I wanted to see Gunpei and Renn as well... I'm amused Hirata Hiroaki finally made it into toku with voicing MachFalcon, though he dosn't stick around to talk to the Kaizoku like on Go-Onger, only appears for the Gokai-Ou combinations.

As for Halloween, I'm not really doing anything. Got snacks in case, but with a dr's appt later and since we're in an apt, we usually don't get any kids.
