Oh my, the lawn is overgrown! Is there a Lawncare For Hire!?

Take control of Bertil, and spin to win with your trusty scythe! Be sure it will be a bumpy ride: The Lawn needs your help!

Bertil is VERY SERIOUS about his business, in fact, he has developed his very own scything technique that helps him clear football fields in minutes. 

This game was made for the VERY SERIOUS GAMEJAM hosted by Juniper Dev in June of 2026! The theme was "Spin to Win" 

FEATURES

Spin 2 win, let Bertil charge up a whirling scythe slash that will send him flying at high velocities, linear AND angular. 

Bouncy physics character controller with plenty of skill expression. Time the release of Bertil's scythe charge to see a rainbow of color and fly at high speeds!

Side missions; aside from cutting grass, Bertil can also Play Football, celebrate getting a goal, whack some rats, break some barrels, and explore the overgrown lawn!

3 stages + a lobby stage! Npcs react to your progress across stages. Featuring an overgrown football field, MICE PLAYING FOOTBALL, and the Field of Flowers

CONTROLS: 

Use [A] & [D]  to turn left and right respectively

Hold [SPACE]  to charge up your Spin Dash, and release it to spin away! If timed correctly, you can get an extra boost!

Pressing [R] lets you reset a stage if you get stuck
