Monday announcements!

Hold onto your shirts - we've got a lot of announcements this morning!

ysabetwordsmith's poem, The Shipwright's Song has been nominated for a 2012 Rhysling award in the short poem category! Congratulations, Elizabeth! This poem has been changed from supporters-only to public, and the fiction collection page has been reorganized slightly - instead of 'Muse Fusions,' this category is now Contests, Events and Honors, and we've got a new section for featuring Outside Appearances.

Speaking of nominations, Torn World has been nominated in two categories of the Rose and Bay Awards, Other Projects and Poetry. Please vote for us! This year, voting has changed to allow you to vote for all of the projects you enjoy... take a look through some of the other great nominees and you may find some other awesome projects, too.

The art gallery is now public and available to non-registered viewers! This enabled me to easily add thumbnail next/previous browsing to the art pages, for a fabulous new artwork browsing experience. Artwork and articles have also been added to the storyline collections they are related to, making these pages even more useful and comprehensive (and pretty!!).

Our Fashion and Fads contest has come to an end, and we've got a new contest open now, running two months to the end of March: Amazing Critters of Torn World. Use one of our existing fauna, or create your own for this contest! Thank you to wyld_dandelyon for running this contest, as I will be stepping back out of the spotlight for several months to be Mom fulltime (Elsa is due to show up in two weeks!).

Have a lovely Monday, and let me know if you run into any bugs or problems with the new features!

New feature at the webpage!

Now, canon artwork will show up on the reference articles related to it, automatically! If you are viewing the pages as a non-registered reader, you will get one random image (in the upper right corner). If you are logged in, you will see all the images associated with a reference article at the bottom of the page.

See this new feature in action at the article about northern necklaces!

If you spot any artwork that should be attached to articles and isn't, let me know! I spent a little while going back through the artwork and tagging the pieces to articles, but I probably missed several...
