I've written something for the first time since February, possibly the longest break I've ever taken.

Also, I think going forward I'll just put everything under the cut since it's mostly for me to have my work archived somewhere besides AO3 rather than anyone wanting to read it. LMAO

"Isn't the Prophet supposed to be a family newspaper?" Harry grumbled, loudly rustling the pages.

Severus added a spoonful of sugar to his tea and stirred. "What are they saying about us this time?"

Lowering the paper so Severus could see his face, Harry scowled. "There's a photo of my arm."

"Insinuating ropes or some other sort of bondage?" Severus suggested.

"Precisely." Harry's expression changed, his lips twitching. "I'd have preferred that to the spell damage. At least I'd have got some pleasure out of the experience."

Severus sipped his tea and filed away the information for a later date.
