Hey! Sorry this wrapup took so long to post, I was too busy watching Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and squeeing wanted to make sure we didn't leave out any last-minute submissions.

First, an enormous thank you to everyone who participated - this community brought me massive joy, and I hope it did the same for you all. Hey, maybe we'll bring it back next year if TW carries on for a third season!

Again, I really want to thank all of you - both for posting and for your patience, as this is my first adventure in modding. nimnod graciously volunteered to co-mod; kuwdora did a lot of pinch-hit modding because I kept falling asleep on the keyboard at ten minutes till midnight. Thank you both!
And may we have a long and happy Torchwood Season 2 - after that first episode, I am very optimistic.

Torchwood doesn't enter into the video until about halfway through, but there's lots of great Jack & team there. I love the "Jack" voice. Most of the footage is from Doctor Who (but maybe he can be the alien in Alien/Team Day?). giandujakiss does an impressive job of combining shows and making one long continuous timeline.

(ETA: Damn, sapote3 beat me to this one! That was fast! Well, now everyone should definitely see it. )

The majority of this video is Gwen & Jack, but it's also about their relationship to Torchwood and the other members. There's some great team/ensemble moments. I love the moody atmosphere.

OMG HAPPY TORCHWOOD DAY!!! :)

With fifteen minutes to go (yay TW!) I recommend Groove is in the Heart, by giandujakiss. It's a Doctor Who / Torchwood crossover, and it is pure fun.

I am now off to spend several hours anxiously refreshing isohunt - see you all on the other side! (Posting is, of course, still open for just about anything, but please spoiler-tag! Us wretched colonials won't see 2x1 for hours, or even weeks D: )

They are the house that Jack built, and they reflect the flaws of their architect.

Jack gathers his team together. I think this might be my all-time favorite Jack character study. The writing is clever and poignant, and I love the author's insights into his character. I also adore the depictions of each team member and their interactions with him.

excerpt:

"I want an underground lair," Jack says, mostly joking.

"And a dinosaur," he adds, completely joking.

It takes him less than three days to discover that a) MI-5 can't actually recognise jokes when they hear them, and b) Ianto Jones is going to be just as useful as he suspected.

So, it's already Jack's Day! :D :D :D

What to say about Jack? I'd just say... He's my favourite omnisexual character of all times...
