Hello all so it's been about as long as my title huh? Sorry, real life and all, haha! Let's see, updates:

I'm now 29

I've actually stopped watching Criminal Minds

I'm listed as a staff writer and writing longer pieces at Serial Killer Magazine

I have a twitter that's, essentially, trivia on criminal psychology right here: psych_files

I found new fandoms in Justified and True Blood and found myself deeply amused by the premiere of GCB

Apparently, I got nominated for something (didn't say what) at cmfavoritefics, so that's pretty awesome and, if you vote and I win, it'll be even more awesome ;-)

And, hopefully, I can think of something to write again sometimes soon whether in an old fandom or new or crossover, but who knows.

...Will be debating if I want to renew my plus account here, but I'm still thinking the benefits (extra pics, no ads, etc) outweigh deficits (losing, like, $20) so yeah.

If I feel up to it I'll restructure/update my layout in the banner and switching out user pics. But, in the meantime, enjoy the words of my new chuckle-worthy favorite "villain", Boyd Crowder:

I have officially started working my way through my Alphabet Meme...Already did F is for Fatherhood (Foyet) prompted by mcgarrygirl78 and it's right HERE. It was hella fun to write and I'm pretty darn proud of it.

I also started working on the next one, I is for Interrogation Kink (Foyet/Garica, Noir!Verse) prompted by pink_siamese and already have a fair amount down. I'm playing with the feeling of this one some because, well, I want it to rock the line between sensual and threatening so that means dark and poetic - at least for me for this piece it does. I'm not sure how far the whole thing will go between them but, either way, the feeling needs to be there and I'd like it to be almost suffocating at times.

After that I'll see which hits me next since more than a few are calling me right now. Either way, they'll all get done. ...And the letters E, N, O, U, V, X, and Z are still available if anyone's all "OMG I have something for the letter!", haha!

The icon, by the way, is of Chloe Grace Moretz as Hit Girl in the film Kick Ass and, in that icon, I just felt she'd work for Foyet's kid, Lil...I mean, seriously, look at her face while she examines the knife, haha!

First is this...I'm going (mostly) private folks. All fic will remain open the public, of course, but as I reveal more about myself I'd rather not have to select "Friends" each time. That being said I'm pretty lax in my friending...You add me, I'll add you back (same goes with dropping folks). I like you, what you write, and we've chatted a bit then I might add you too.

Also finally saw The Black Swan and OH...MY...FUCK...That film was so bad ass I can't even put into words how bad ass it was. I wanna see it again...and again...and again!! It was an amazing way to cap this year and kick off the one coming up.

In case you missed it I'm working on an project, The Alphabet Meme that I could always use some help on if you haven't prompted me yet.

Also working/struggling on at least one piece for the rounds_of_kink New Year's Round. The kinks aren't the problem, it's working in the prompts, haha! That and the worker bees that are usually out of the house are all here so they keep distracting me with crap.

Oh and, haha, I finally got off my butt to check out that "I Write Like..." website I see around, put in my noir AU "Living for the Night" and got...

The new issue of Serial Killer Magazine is FINALLY out to order and, to the best of my knowledge, I'm supposed to be in!! Friggin' A man! Of course I can't even remember which articles of mine are supposed to be in there, haha! I ordered it since I want it either way so, when it comes, I guess I'll find out, won't I? Haha! ...God I really really hope I'm in it cause it'd really be the best cap to my whole year - finally getting my crazy ass published, haha! (It'd also mean that I'll likely be in Issue 9 too, which I was told I would be.)

For all you kiddies out there who don't gotta clue what I'm talking about I'll explain a little. I have my own blog Psych(o) Files that's focused mainly on criminal psychology, profiling, etc. BUT I also occasionally have submitted pieces for Serial Killer Calendar magazine for publishing...again, mostly focusing on the psych/profiling/awareness areas of killers. I feel both my blog and SKC are awesome and you should check them out, haha!

Now what happens if I'm not published do you ask? Well first I'll be pissed...then sad and pissed...then I'll probably shoot the guy who does the magazine an e-mail asking what gives. He's actually a pretty cool guy so, ya know, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt before I start calling him names or anything, haha!

Because I never post new fic on a day when a new Criminal Minds is going to be on I figured I'd stick with a recap-ing of fics I've already posted in case people missed them. So here we go!!

Lots of noir pieces coming both within and aside from the main story. May also do a cast of characters update so both I and you, dear readers, can keep track of what everyone's doing, haha!

AND I need to do the All I Want for X-Mas is Hotch/Prentiss piece too...not sure what it'll be yet though. Something from my noir, something from another AU, or just, haha, something else completely. ...This is the issue when you have too many ideas at once, haha!

It's the season finale of Dexter so I'm WAY to psyched to post any fic tonight...I'm working on stuff, but posting will have to wait until tomorrow, haha! (I almost have an idea for a crossover with Criminal Minds but, haha, not how most would think...not sure if it'll blossom into a real fic though so...yeah....)

Got more than a few noir fics on the burner, both in and out of the main story I've been working on, at the moment. A handful are one-shots or what I call "glimpses" in which characters who've never previously spoken will be narrating the pieces and other characters not yet seen in my main piece (which begins here and is all linked together) will make their first appearance. ...Something about this season makes my noir come out, haha! And if anyone has a character they really wanna hear from or see I'd love to hear about it.

I also started the next Hotch/Reid piece...it's a little slow going but it always with this pairing for me. ...Also the two are in a delicate spot in the story and I don't want to rush things into OOC-territory. But I might try my hand at something for them outside the main story (which begins here and is all linked together) I've been working on...something for the season, ya know? Any ideas or prompts are welcome, haha!

I tried my hand at "team as teens" thing in Of Houses and Homes but I don't know if I really like it. It wasn't intentional, I started writing and they came out as high-schoolers for some reason, but I didn't want to just throw out the whole idea because it don't go the way I thought it would. It's fine as a X-mas-y piece and all, but I'm not sure it's an AU I really wanna pursue...I've seen it done quite well by others and, well, I don't think I have anything to add or a new spin on the premise so...yeah.

Oh and there's the meme thing going around where people give you prompts of words starting with a letter of the alphabet (A...someone prompts apple or ape or arrogant for example) and you write for each letter (so 26 letters of the alphabet = 26 prompts = 26 drabbles/fics)....I'm thinking of doing that. Thing is I think I want to make it a real challenge by doing something I don't usually - whether it's a pairing (or pairings) I tend not to write or within a strange AU setting. So...yeah...thinking about that and open to ideas to make it a challenge, haha!

Ever had a fic idea where you think it's gonna be this quick one-shot type thing and it suddenly grows into what's looking like a multi-chapter thing? That's what I got going on right now with one piece...I'm really liking it so far but I know it's going to have to be split into pieces, haha! (Not the first time this has happened, but I think it is the first time it's not a case-fic, haha!)

Feedback always makes the word go 'round folks so gimme some here, on fics, or anywhere else, haha!

...Just busy with the holidays and all. But I've got little muses fluttering about for Hotch/Reid and the Noir (Hotch's POV is up next)...maybe a holiday Rossi/Strauss, not sure. Also Jack and Cassidy are chattering a bit - though it's more Cassidy talking to one of the BAU members, Rossi's feeling the best in that spot, but I don't wanna rush and write the girl into a corner, haha!

I'm still doing my blog - the last piece was on the Bender Family, who worked together in the murders of 8-11 people during the 1800s. May try to write up a holiday one too but I'm not sure if it'll be a safety one or a psych one. Either way, feel free to check out the blog (links on the side on my journal somewhere, haha) and share it. I DO get comments sometimes which, so far, have proved rather interesting in and of themselves.

Other news involves things like enjoying Dexter this season (just like all the other seasons, but still, haha) and wanting his "kill shirt" for X-Mas, gearing up for the holidays with X-Mas films ("Buddy the Elf, what's your favorite color?"), and buying a surprisingly comfy pair of jeggings (jean leggings, get it?).
