Loved the ghost shrimp I fed to him during the acclimation process.
(That’s my “thing”, feed during the drip…)
I’m hoping that helps them calm down and de-stress after an overnight trip… I get cranky on a trip without food so why wouldn’t they also get cranky!!!)
He just won’t let go… got hand fed yesterday….
And held on for about 4-5 minutes… and even then us gently...
Hi everybody. I’ve been wanting to add a classroom octopus for a while now, and would like to get this going before the beginning of the next school year.
I would a diurnal species that has the potential to be interactive with students. I’ve done a couple of the Pacific browns over the years, but they always hid in the live rock all the time and we rarely saw them.
Not sure what tank size I’m going to use (I have a few between 20-40 gal lying around), but it will be patched into a 250...
