Algae Octopus- (Prickly in name only… not in attitude). Looks young ish? Not sure of the age. No ink on transit. Loved the ghost shrimp I fed to him during the acclimation process. (That’s my “thing”, feed during the drip…) I’m hoping that helps them calm down and de-stress after an overnight trip… I get cranky on a trip without food so why wouldn’t they also get cranky!!!) He just won’t let go… got hand fed yesterday…. And held on for about 4-5 minutes… and even then us gently...
Hi everybody. I’ve been wanting to add a classroom octopus for a while now, and would like to get this going before the beginning of the next school year. I would a diurnal species that has the potential to be interactive with students. I’ve done a couple of the Pacific browns over the years, but they always hid in the live rock all the time and we rarely saw them.
