Do you live in the Toronto area? Do you need an accompanist or an audition coach?

Hi, my name is Shari, and I'm an accompanist/audition coach in the Toronto area. I am new to the city so have many available rehearsal spots. I specialize in working with vocalists, and have accompanied several juries/exams, recitals, etc. I have also been working, for the past few months, as an audition coach and have helped people select and prepare songs. I have done a lot of accompanying for brass and woodwind players.

Interested? Check out my website that has my resume, my biography, and you can directly hire me from there. Or e-mail me at shari.porter@gmail.com.

I'm just posting this here as I don't know if I should leave it as a comment or not...

Hi, my name is Alexandra, and I'm a first year student at U of T, going into music/English (if my stupid auditions work out). I'm moving to the Toronto area at the end of the week (I'm from Northern Ontario), and am a voracious arts student. I'm looking for anyone who would like to start a rock band (I'm currently a vocalist/bassist in a band called Too Far North), and am looking for any ensemble who needs a bassoonist, pianist or percussionist. I play piano, bassoon, bass, flute, piccolo, drums, aux. percussion, some guitar and whatever else I can find. I'm also a graphic artist if you ever need posters or artwork done, and enjoy theatre.

My LJ is gogoketchup.
