A lot of people don't seem to know what classification to use, for others or for themselves, when concerning diets.
I am a vegetarian, specifically alacto-ovo-vegetarian. No, I do not eat fish. People who do not eat any meat but fish, are called pescatarians; but generally someone who is a pescatarian will just call themselves a vegetarian, because no one seems to know what a pescatarian is... because pescatarians only ever call themselves vegetarians!
Yes, I drink milk and eat eggs. Lacto-vegetarians don't eat eggs (lacto, coming from the Latin for milk), and ovo-vegetarians don't have dairy (ovo, you guessed it, Latin for egg).
Vegans don't eat eggs or have any dairy products, or honey. Anything that comes from an animal.
I finished school around 4pm, walked with Mel and Keira to Narrabundah shops, then walked all the way to Keira's house, missed the bus while walking to her place, missed the bus again while walking to the bus stop. Then walked down the hill and caught another bus.. Got home around 5:30pm or so. I usually get home at 4:30.
Blah.

School with a'ight, yes, I said a'ight, well spelt it anyway (probably wrong for that matter) (I love over using parenthesis (don't you love that word, parenthesis? (I think it's got French origins.. ))).
We drew Johnny Depp in art. Although we didn't know it was him at the beginning.. We were each given a square from a grid and we had to copy it onto another square piece of paper double the size. When it was finished and put together, most of the lines didn't line up.. xD
Time is constant, Flowing like a never ending river, It's speed varies. Some moments are never ending, Or at least they seem to be. While others end in a blink of an eye, Too fast for me. Well I've started college.
Haven't got a bad thing to say about any of my classes (yet), which is nice. I'm enjoying -- although I use the term loosely -- the hustle and bustle (cliche points in sentence +1) of getting back into the routine, although it's a better routine than it was. College in the first week, has been much more fun than High School was, at least the classes.
What to say.. Well I don't have any homework, which is nice, but it won't be like that for long.

Yes, Keira, I realise I haven't updated for a while.. But you haven't updated since April! Hypocrite. xD
Well I've graduated from High School, made it through year ten. My grades were less than average, three Bs and 4 Ds. Amazingly I got a B in Japanese for the last semester, which was rather surprising, I'm pretty sure I deserved a C. The other two Bs were for Drama and Mathematics.. Woot.
The holidays have been alright, not wonderful, but I've got nothing to complain about. Christmas came and went in a blink of an eye, I got money, also not complaining about that :P. A lot of my friends are out of state at the moment, two in Adelaide, one in Perth, three in New South Wales.. And another off to Sydney on Sunday, not to mention some other people who just don't seem to be around. Which is a tad annoying, as we finally have time to plan things and everyone's out of town! That probably what I dislike about the holidays, it's much harder to see most of my friends during them...
Saw The Golden Compass today, it was meant to be a group thing but only one person other than me turned up. It was alright, I haven't read the book so I'm not sure if they ruined it or not. Afterwards I got a lift with James over to his place, where I rendezvoused with Douglas and we proceeded to walk over to Mel's place. Douglas, Mel and I walked around Narrabundah, just talking and catching up, eventually we decided to rent out the tennis courts near the shops and played a game or two, which was fun, but just being around friends again after a few weeks of slight solitude was enjoyable. We've decided to go on a picnic on Saturday before Mel heads to Sydney till February, which shall also be fun, hopefully. :P
I've been doing frequent amounts of parkour lately, still sticking to the basics though, wouldn't want to hurt myself. It's been rather exhilarating, I have a small sense of freedom when I'm doing parkour, and when you get really into it, you just start to feel extremely.. Calm. Well we have a few "jams" planned in the following weeks, Abhi and Emory are planning to hit up Hughes next week, and on Sunday .. or was it Saturday.. Doug is planning on getting as much people as possible to come along, Sarah will also be back from Queensland and she has a camera, hehe. We will be checking how some things look on video and discussing the making of a short amateur parkour video.
I've also been exercising more than usual, usual being barely any at all, it's a demanding "sport"... Well, I'm not sure I would call it a sport, as it isn't competitive, but to keep it simple I'll refer to it as such. As I was saying, it's a rather demanding sport, like most sports, and if I want to improve my proficiency at it I think I'll have to get a tad more fit than I am now. The state I'm in now is pretty.. Average, if you've looked around lately average isn't that great anymore when it comes to general fitness.
Haven't been drawing much lately, hopefully I'll get back into it sometime during these holidays.
Well I've been a bit lazy with the journal entries, and that isn't an understatement at all. I seem to be drawing a lot lately, at least quite a bit more than usual, for a few months there I hadn't drawn much at all... ( Collapse )
