New Quarters for Teal'c (ongoing RP)

Continued from here.

As Teal'c and Daniel entered the new quarters they were greeted by a spartan room with the exception of the pile of Teal'c's belongings that had been moved in from his old quarters. While the soldiers had taken care to pack everything safely, they'd clearly decided that leaving the unpacking to the Jaffa was the wisest course of action, and so, had simply stacked everything in one corner. The room itself was outfitted with only minimal furnishings, two twin beds, a desk, a table and chairs, and a sofa.

"This is where I'm going to stay?" Daniel looked around the room.

OOC - Activity

So, I know I said I wouldn't do activity checks until at least January, but there is increased activity with Stargate muses.  What I want to know from you is if you're still interested in playing/writing here.  If not, that's perfectly okay and I'll understand if you want to leave.  The reason I ask is so I can offer muses to people who would be able to be more active.

All I need you guys to do is comment here by Nov. 1 letting me know if you want to stay or leave.

I'm posting a link to this post over in the fen community.

Teal'c

After the meeting

The meeting had ended with little fanfare with little being done. He understood that it was difficult to get anything accomplished when they had to worry about so many "domestic" enemies. The boy was still rather out of sorts, so Teal'c carried him, rather than making him expend any more energy. He went to the housing office, wishing to procure a larger space. His own quarters of 10 years had served him well, but with the boy a larger space was necessary.

The young lady in the office smiled at him and, after he explained the situation, produced a card key and told him that they would move his items to the new quarters for him. He would have protested, but he knew the boy did not want to be out of his presence. Nor was he assured that a rogue agent who had infiltrated would not snatch him the minute his back was turned.

"Would you like something to eat, Daniel Jackson?"

introduction| teyla

I must apologize for the lateness of my introduction here. It has been a trying time and I believe that finally I am able to put my focus where it belongs.

My name is Teyla Emmagan and it has taken me a great deal of time to become accustomed to so many of the different aspects that this world has given our people. As an Athosian I have watched the Wraith come and take as they please, I have watched many a city be put to ruin by devastation and loss. I still do not believe that we are truly ever going to be safe, but I do know that the people that have come here to this galaxy are doing all that they can to help us. I myself have joined those people that have come to the Ancients city of Atlantis. Their efforts have given many people a second chance at life, at a new start. I am very grateful for their presence, and their aid.

One such thing that I have become used to is still quite primitive in comparison to much of the Ancient technology that we have utilized here on Atlantis, the internet however has become quite a useful tool in teaching me about some of the references that John uses quite often. I also do look forward to meeting new people and if this tool can be utilized in that way then I look forward to it.
Teal'c

Returning to the SGC

Teal'c parked the jeep as Landry's aide ran up. The man looked a bit panicked, which was unusual as far as Teal'c was concerned.

"General Landry wants to see you as soon as possible."

Teal'c gave the boys their respective bags. He was about to let them go their separate ways when Walter said, "And he wants to see our newest charge." He waved over an airman. Teal'c instructed him to take the bags to his quarters as he took Daniel's hand.

"Inform General Landry that we are on our way."

Walter headed down the hall on the heels of the airman, but soon took one of the forks. Teal'c travelled at a more leisurely pace, knowing they would not start the meeting without him. The boy had to be somewhat exhausted after arcade games and shopping.
Teal'c

Return

General Landry hears the gate dialing even before the alarm goes off in the SGC.

"Unauthorized gate activation!" Siler's voice echoes through the halls.

Uneasy, he heads down the control center, watching the flashing lights, until the screen suddenly indicates that SG-1's IDC has been verified.

"Open it, Siler." The primary team, minus its physicist, wasn't supposed to return for another few hours. At least they're not piling through the gate like they're being chased. The first one out is Teal'c, who seems to be carrying a kid. Behind him trails the rest of the team. Landry makes his way down to the gate room.

"Report!"

"Um, we have an interesting situation, Hank," Jack says quietly. He indicates that they should head for the briefing room.

"I will take my charge to the infirmary," Teal'c declares before anyone can ask another question. He sweeps out of the gate room and into the hall.

Landry raises a grey eyebrow. "This should be interesting..."
