Like it was during an argument and the person goes to hit him or something and he shoves them back--only for them to bash their head in during the fall.

They wake up while Yue Qi is disposing of the evidence and he's already in too deep so he finishes the job himself.

ANYWAYS INSERT YUE QI WHO HAS TO KEEP KILLING NOSEY PEOPLE TO PROTECT SHEN JIU'S SECRET.

He's so apologetic as he sneaks up behind someone to choke them out. The pitiful smile he gives someone when they grab his hand, telling him that Shen Jiu's killed someone and they need to escape. The way he snaps necks is very satisfying.

"Yue Qi wouldn't do that" If not for all of the righteous teachings of a cultivator you cannot convince me that YQ wouldn't kill for SJ actually.
