Steven Spielberg presents 'Taken', a ten-part mini-series about alien abduction, starting with the roswell crash and spanning 60 years to the present day. amazing acting and effects.

Stephen King's The Stand, also a mini-series. again, fine acting and effects, really great corpses when the plague hit, the stand in vegas was a bit dodgy though. starred rob lowe, yum, as nick, and gary sinise, who used to be a fine actor, as stew. Steve King himself had a rather large speaking part, as opposed to the usual cameo.

Outrageous Fortune, a new New Zealand comedy/drama-type-thing. very funny, full of shortland street actors 'rooting' and saying fuck.

the long awaited new telly show from those two arseholes, stapp and heath from BACK OF THE Y MASTERPIECE TELEVISION! from what i gather, world famous daredevil/stuntman randy campbell is lagging it, and they've spent quite a lot on the stunts. i am very excited.

wish list: Changi reruns, then my season of mini-series reruns will be complete. Changi is brilliant. set in changi POW camp in singapore during WWII, it is very brutal and very moving. although it does have home and away actors saying fuck in it, god, sometimes i love those pesky aussies.
