Today, we were looking for a light read, and with these, we found just that. "Kiss me while you're awake" is a pleasant drabble, almost domestic in a sense. It's a soft, enjoyable read, and we hope you will check it out. :) With "Summer", we got the same warm feeling, because the season was so well incorporated with everything that Kevin and Eli do in the entire story. It was very easy to slip into this fic and never want to leave. In "Rooftops", we were taken through a series of emotions, each one staggering to the senses, and were left with a feeling of 'completion' for the lack of a better word. As always, be sure to check these pieces out. ♥

[info]venus_aurea captures sooseop with such delicate perfection, that the reader is impacted even with such a short drabble. We recommend you to check out all of her ukiss fiction. [info]unactivist did a spectacular job at characterizing Kiseop, making him not human and having such devastating desires to be human. Even though it is an au, the characters were just as you would imagine in real life, even Xander, being wonderfully hyper. [info]brandnewwind writes a heartbreaking story of filth, love, and sacrifice. (Spoiler - We really wish there were a happy ending ;_;) Nonetheless, be sure to check these stories out. :)

It is always fun to see how authors characterize Soohyun since he can be viewed in so many different ways. This author, however, has captured our favorite characterization of Soohyun, portraying him as eccentric and lovable as he is in real life. This piece of work was subtle, but it touched at almost everything that Soohyun does and feels. And, there is the barest of Kiseop/Soohyun at the end, very nicely placed after the band, with the exception of Kiseop, finally gets 'used to' the way Soohyun is. It's a quick read and quite a pleasant read at that. :)

What impressed us most in this story was the amount of detail quirke used. Right away, we have a mental image of exactly where she wants us to be. "The rain water runs along cracked walls coloured by moss, trickles along the scaffolding of ongoing construction and broken pipes. Even in sheltered walkways, people usually carry umbrellas to avoid the incessant dripping." Everything is specific, and the reader can't help but submit to her descriptions. Another big factor for choosing this fic was dialogue. It was natural and very easy to follow, with subtle ache behind every word. ♥
