happy taz sapphic week im still here i swear
@tazsapphicweek
im really enjoying the Petra Parker trend and i would like to see more superheroes with a gallery of villains who are evil as shit but also (mostly) very respectful about them being queer i think that's hilarious
one of the things that differentiates successful and unsuccessful supervillains is how well you understand the balance of power. you have to get a back-and-forth going with your local hero where you let them win sometimes and sometimes you win, because the local superheroes tend to be less powerful than the big-name ones who work on a national scale and you probably could beat those guys if you had to but you would wreck a lot of the city in the process and you don't want your city wrecked because you live there. your evil lair is a 6th floor apartment downtown because the housing market is terrible.
you gotta remain mostly beneath being worth the time of the big guys, and cultivate an arch-nemesishood with a local hero or two. you don't want to cause problems that they can't handle, because you know and like your local hero and you don't want the government to call Reality-Man or some shit you have no idea how to fight. plus, it keeps your local hero in a job, and what's good for the economy is good for you
this means being supportive. being an arch-nemesis doesn't end on the street. show interest in her hobbies. possess someone so you can go to her piano recital. be emotional support for her if she needs it
when she starts crying in the middle of the fight and stops fighting you, it would be easy to sneak attack her, but it would also be rather rude. you have to ask her what's wrong, and when she tells you she's transfem but no one in her life is supportive of trans people so you're the first person she's telling, you should offer her comfort. give her a hug. she won't mind that you're a freaky half-human half-boar mutant. next time you kidnap her, maybe you can enact your scheme vaguely in the location of an hrt clinic or a trans support group
eating rice, there's definitely an upper limit to how much you can eat, but thinking about it in abstract? when filling a plate? it's hard to conceive of it. that's what makes it so dangerous
i see you’ve noticed me tamping down the soft earth
i miss 2012 so much i could cry
it’s so magical and beautiful that there are sprawling interconnected cave systems carved deep into the earth by various geological forces and you don’t have to go in them. there are miles and miles of stone passageways in total darkness that require you to exhale all the air out of your lungs to squeeze through parts of them and you don’t have to be there. some of these squeezes are underwater and require cave divers to take off their oxygen tanks and push them through ahead of them and me i am above ground looking at the sky as we speak. there are untold subterranean wonders no human has ever seen and i will not be the one to discover them #grateful #blessed
