And let this be a first attempt, newbie!

I am trying to get rid of boredom induced by an extended holiday so I figured I'll stop lurking around and make a post about an observation I made about my listening preferences (thanks to last.fm of course) because that's the only thing I can think of right now.

I obsess over a certain song to the point of exhaustion and then reach a point when I don't remember why I even liked it in the first place.

Anyone ever go through this phase? Or something similar to it?

I feel sad that it's become such a compulsive habit. Argh!
