The Wake Mag started about 2 years by Ryan Fairfield. Fairfield loved the independent music scene and realized how much it had done for him... he wanted to give back. So with the help of some friends, he started THE WAKE MAG. Recently, they purchased a domain (www.thewakemag.net). This purchase has helped boost their growth tremendously. They get loads of visits from unique people across the globe. LABELS are taking notice as well (including LEVEL PLANE Records, Post 436, Blackout! Records, Trash Art!, Kranky Records, K Records, and so many more).
This is a community for fans of the zine or fans of independent music to hang out. It's just a nice little feature. :-)
