She's got a ton of tattoos. They're in places where she can hide them under a tshirt and shorts and most of them are floral. All of the characters have space motifs (stars, moons, voids, black holes) and for Miss I went with Earth with her green and blue palette. Thought it'd be fitting if all her tattoos were nature based

For 1000 days, 100 people have been dying every day, the majority of them children, women, and the elderly, right before your eyes and within your hearing. What kind of logic is this? What explanation can there be for the extermination of an entire people? Where are the rights, the charters, and the international treaties? It has become clear that they are all lies. 💔 For over a week, I've been living in unbearable pain...
Every day I go for tests and X-rays on my foot, and I can't stand this excruciating pain anymore 😔
Today, the harsh truth came out...
There's a fracture in the fixation screw inside my foot ⚠️
The doctor told me I need urgent surgery to re-fix it, otherwise I could suffer serious complications and infections that would worsen my condition 💔 The surgery and treatment cost $400, and I don't have that amount 😢

Today was my first day of physical therapy… 💔
But the truth is I’m still suffering from a serious leg injury. There is an internal fracture in the metal fixation, and one of the screws has broken. The doctors told me I need another surgery to place a new fixing screw.
Every day I live with unbearable pain. I try to stay strong despite the exhaustion and suffering, but my situation is very difficult and I urgently need treatment and support for myself and my family 🙏
I cry through every exercise because the pain is beyond words… 😢💔
Even so, I’m still trying to continue and hold on to hope.
If you have a kind heart, please help me or share my story. Your support could ease my pain and give me a chance to continue my treatment and heal ❤️

A while ago I saw @jesncin make a references post for one of their awesome fancomics, and I was inspired to jot down notes as I was working on my first-ever attempt at a comic script. So read on if you would like to see what I'm referencing and why I made certain choices in the fanzine comic The Woman In The Refrigerator!
(This is part one of a series because I wrote too much. The problem with doing semi-academic writing for free on tumblr.com is that no one forces me to edit it down. Seriously it's so long, there's something wrong with me.)
Part 1: Refrigerator Dialogues
It's 1993. You are Ron Marz, DC writer, and you've been tasked with killing Hal Jordan, the current and longstanding Green Lantern, and transitioning the comic to his successor. How are you going to make people invest in and connect with Kyle Rayner, your new protagonist? Especially since this change is part of an editorially-mandated shakeup of DC legacy characters being replaced by a younger, wisecracking, """edgy""" new generation who still needed to fit comfortably into the mold of masculine, white, staunchly capitalist men (e.g. Superboy, Impulse, with Connor Hawke as a notable exception whom DC then spends decades not knowing how to write or draw). Kyle's an artist, which is already a little worryingly non-normatively-masculine, especially compared with Hal "fighter pilot" Jordan. How will you make sure people don't think the new guy is a wimp?

I write these words with a broken heart. To those who read this and choose to ignore it, you can simply scroll past, but I am living through the most difficult moments of my life. My husband is slowly dying before my eyes. Due to a severe head and jaw injury, he has been unable to eat or drink for over a week, his weight has dropped to just 39 kilograms, and he is suffering from severe, life-threatening malnutrition.
