opiate for the masses @ warped in O-town!!!
Orlando
The fist time I saw them was last year on warped, I fucking loved it! There were only like 7 people watching but the band still gave it their all. Ron had on cheerleader shorts, and we stuffed slimjims in them. He drank water out of his shoe, simply doing his best to entertain and connect with everyone. Ron signed my shirt, and the next day I went to learn as much as I could about the band. Marxism has always been an intrest of mine so this band really struck a note there. This year it was a much larger set.The bands presence was more there with Ron this time, unlike last time where they were hidden in the back of the tent. I thrashed out as hard as I could. between songs I screamed to Ron, "Hey Ron! I like your addams apple!" replying back rubbing his throat he said, "yeah I've been working on that." During one song, a guy in a cow suit and a guy in a chicken suit came out for a mini mosh!!! At the end of the set I got a drum stick and a pick, ending warped on the highest, no make that the heavyest, of notes.
