Wow...it's been MONTHS

I've just read back on a few posts but it's safe to say I don't have the time or inclincation to read back so far....still, what I read was interesting!

I may do a reflective 2009 post at some point soon, or one of the "decade" ones but I really can't be arsed right now. I'm in a weird mood, re-evaluating a lot of things as I suppose people tend to around this time of year.

What I want to ask though - does anyone have any suggestions of songs which are difficult to sing? By that I mean, songs with words that are impossibly fast or something, like Informer by Snow, or One Week by Barenaked Ladies (for e.g.)

If so, please comment with your suggestion.

Thanks!

Daily Poem: 3

I'm writing this quite early
Cos I'm going out making cake.
My best mate's 30 tomorrow
So some effort we will make.

Today has been quite poo so far,
My workload was obscene.
My job application form came back
Never having even been seen!

It took over a month and a half
To get back in my hand.
If it had got here sooner
I could have made a stand.

On top of that, my friend emailed
To say he'd found a flat!
He'll soon be off to Edinburgh :(
I'm not too chuffed with that.

So now it's time to say FUCK IT!
And go and have some fun.
Watch Half-Wit be evicted
And have bus rides in the sun.

The job was never meant to be,
I'll take it as a sign
That something else will come my way
That's more perfectly mine.

And now I'll have a place to stay
In Scotland any time.

Daily Poem 2

It's Friday now, but let's not quibble,
This is Thursday's rhyme.
I've been reading NME
And lost track of the time.

Tonight I watched Godfather 2,
A film that's Oscar-winning.
It's not my sort of thing at all
And didn't have me grinning.

Apart from that I mainly typed,
And calm I tried to stay.
My colleague does my head in,
In case I didn't say!

I did look for a new job too,
But nothing did I spy.
I need a bloody holiday -
For the whole of July!

Daily Poem:1

The main thing to say about today:
It's was so bloody hot!
'Though I was in a darkened room
Alas, cool we were not.

The atmosphere was pretty good,
Leaving early, arriving late.
My workload was quite manageable,
And strawberries I ate.

To celebrate my weight loss,
I ate a nice croissant,
Maltesers and some Wheat Crunchies -
I'll put it all back on!

And cycling home was scary!
Thunder, lightning - overhead,
Riding down a tree-lined street,
I'm lucky I'm not dead.

Home at last and chilling out,
Then realised I'd forgotten,
I'm working nine til midnight too!
I'll miss BB! How rotten. :(

hahahaha.
