#santagnoleft a hook-up's house, last step from their porch was a bit lower than the others and gave me a small shock. as i was thinking "oh gee that coulda been trouble for me" i missed a step off the property onto the sidewalk and sprained my ankle
this is honestly so fucking ridiculous tho that i began this year with a serious fall where i bruised my ribs and i’m ending this year having sprained my ankle. i’m really hoping it’s not too bad because i don’t want to go to the er bc then this year would be bookended with er visits and i Hate the idea of that
really tho time for another tangent about how much i fucking hate what zack snyder did to superman.
like any superman fan can tell just from looking at literally any frame that something is fucking wrong because there's that fucking dour blue filter over the entire goddamn film like it's set in the movie version of washington state. this isn't fucking twilight or the american version of the ring, it's goddamn superman and he deserves better than the pacific northwest depression blue filter.
i wrote this with absolutely zero awareness that a trailer for a new superman movie directed by james gunn came out a few days ago, and it, at the very least, understands what the color palette of a Superman movie should look like.

the bartender at the bar im a regular at got off shift and just gAVE me a shot of whiskey to down with her shot of something clear??????? im way too drunk now
i was SO confused when this happened too, she just came up to me w/ two shot glasses and i tapped the one meant for me w/ my glass of cider before realizing that was whiskey meants for me to tap against her glass

whelp, 2024 has medically been the worst year of my entire fucking life now punctuated by having a biopsy scheduled two months from now in december, what a way to end the year!
