Call for Submission to Invasion# 2

Hello Invader fans! I have mentioned to a few of you that I wanted to do a collaborative Invader fanzine and THAT TIME HAS COME!

I am looking for fanwork submission for Invasion#2

Why # 2, you ask, it’s to honor of The Human Torches numbering system of course LOL. No actually because #1 was a test run fanzine I printed up 15 copies of for the slash con Escapade just to get my toes wet, but I liked the name so this issue will be #2. It also creates a nice set up for differences between even and odd issues which I will get into in a second.

Notes Two quick sketches of Toro's two mothers. I decided to give Ellie tattoos because . . . reasons. And I know, I know, Toro couldn't produce fire as a baby but it was cute. In the other he's not producing the fire, just showing off it's not burning him.
Anyway, lots is made of Jim in canon, but Nora never freaked out that her son was a Mutant (or whatever) and she did know- in canon (she actually appears to have been the one who explained it to Fred), and Ellie was important enough to Toro that he went back and stayed with her while she was sick (which IMHo means he knew her more than two days or weeks!).

Ummm yesh sorry talking a lot! Anyway, art!

I don't, how will this affect him? How will this affect Jim? And everyone else.
How is this possible? I really want this to be on his mother's side. I do not want to find out that Nora and Fred Raymond were not his bio parents but I don't see how this is going to work and I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS.

And I am also terrified (still) they they are going to kill him :(

I may need cyber hugs when this issues comes out! It's either going to be awesome or hurt me badly!

Aliens versus Invaders: because I something has to amuse me at work

Please someone talk me out of an Invaders versus Aliens crossover
I do not have time.

But it would be the greatest practice comic EVER . . . . .
Granted Aliens versus Invaders seem slike it woudl be kind short, and one sided.

*Aliens jump out:
Steve: *sling shield, notes acid dripping from severed arm* BUCKY! No shooting them
Bucky: You fucking kidding me? What should I do Steve, use strong language?
Namor: *aliens swarm Namor* FOOLS! I AM THE AVENGING SON *flings aliens into wall*
Jim: We got this! Everyone Bakc! *looks to Toro* Ready lad * Jim and Toro set all Aliens on fire*

Bucky: *stares at burning corpses of Aliens* Wow, those were some ugly monsters
Steve: We better make sure we've cleared the area.
Toro: *Starts more fires*
Bucky: WHOA! Watcha doing that for?
Toro: The fire was no where near you, drama queen. Side's I saw eggs, don't want more of those things hatching.
Steve: Good call, son.
Namor: That was a holy unsatisfying fight. Those were the best creatures the nazi's could find to send against us? *disgusted noise*
Jim: Please Namor, shut up.

Because really Aliens versus Torches? Pffftttt
Of course that becomes the interesting aspect of writing it.
