urgent request for donations
Jun. 21st, 2022 09:56 pmI hate asking for help again but I’m trying to turn my year around. The good news is have a new job and a new home at the end of the month.
Unfortunately, the place I thought I would be sharing fell through: the person I thought I would be living with decided to go back to New Brunswick last week. My rent is going to be much higher than I planned: $550, with a $17.50 insurance rental fee. I also now need to pay for movers, which will be around $130. I need to pay for meds to be able to function, which will come to $37.
I’ve struggled to work/find work this year; I struggled with post covid symptoms for a long time, which exacerbated symptoms of having bipolar disorder. I’m currently pursuing a case with the CDPDJ & labour board for wrongful dismissal and failure to pay for hours work from a transphobic workplace. I’m transmasc and find that when I send in the necessary documentation, I get ghosted on jobs: it has happened 3 times this year alone.
I’m trying to raise $750 in total, just to pay for any additional moving costs or emergencies.
