My name is [unintelligeble] and welcome to my little corner of Tumblr! Due to poor foresight, this ROTTMNT-centric fanblog is my primary blog. Most of my activity happens on other sideblogs atm. So this will simply be a little introduction, as well as a place to link my other blogs.

Learning how to draw ROTTMNT Raphael

(as someone who's only ever drawn skinny twinks and girlies)

Knew I was gonna struggle with his anatomy so decided to make a thing out of it. I've never really drawn characters with bigger builds, outside of a few quick sketches during figure drawing. Suppose it's good I'm finally learning to do it now hehe

I traced and studied screenshots prior to drawing these and some during btw. So I probably would have been way worse had I started from the get go lmao

Also: No bad feelings toward anyone who's style looks similar to my earlier attempts, I'm just ragging on myself cause I know it doesn't look like what I'm personally trying to achieve <3

Have been putting off drawing Raph cause I knew I was gonna struggle with his anatomy and was content just drawing the others but I just realized if I learn how to draw him I can draw PLURAL RAPH and hmmhmm heeee haha ho plural raph...
