news / a few things to tell

Good news for European fans. The band will come back to perform again. the fool will perform at the Japan Expo in Belgium from the 4th till the 6th of November. There will also be a signing session so for those who haven't been able to 'meet' the band yet, make sure you visit it. Go to their site for more information. However, it's only in French or Dutch.

Go HERE for the Dutch version of the website.
Go HERE for the French version of the website.

However, this isn't all. The band will stay in Europe till the 19th and will perform on more places together with the band Plunklock. The official dates still need to be announced as well as the places they will visit. This community will updated when I find them.

Look what has been uploaded on youtube!
Sorry about the lack of updates lately. I am very busy as I have two jobs at the moment and the translaters seem to be occupied as well. I hope that we can put some live into this community again soon. Until then, don't fear to post yourself if you feel like sharing your reviews or thoughts on something (obviously) related to the fool. I always enjoy it when others share their love for this band. They sure deserve it!

news / r.i.p utaji

Unfortunally there is some bad news that has to be shared.

Gunji´s pet rabbit Utaji has suddenly passed away. This sudden event has been hard on Gunji, which is for obvious reasons as we all know how much he loved Utaji. Some of you might see it as just 'a pet' that passed away but to pet owners it doesn't sound strange that losing a pet feels like losing a great friend. I noticed that on twitter a lot of people have already used the #RIPutaji to show there support to Gunji and maybe you should do the same.

reminder of the community rules

I'm really happy to see other people contribute to this community. However, I would like to make clear that when your post contains big pictures or contains out of a lot of text than please put them behind an lj-cut.

When this doesn't happen, I will give you a notice once to remind you of the lj-cut rule. When no reply given and nothing been done to the post, I'm afraid I'll have to delete it.

I really don't want to do this but these posts can ruin a lot of layout settings so please just listen to the notice or put them behind a cut when posting.

Thank you.

The Fool at Anime North

My friend and I didn't really know much about The Fool and the opening act HITT when waiting in line for the show saturday evening (May, 27th) they had played a show the night previous at a restaurant located within the Radison Hotel behind the Toronto Convention Centre this I found out through Taca's blog. As soon as they let us in we ran to the stage where we claimed a great spot 15 minutes later HITT came on stage.

The people in the crowd as well as my friend and I fell in love HITT and his set. He has great stage presence and some sexy dance moves at that ;) His set lasted about an hour. What I liked about his set was the fact that he was getting the crowd to copy some of his little dance moves and pulling them on stage to dance with him unfortunately I wasn't pulled out of the crowd but it was still a lot of fun :)

About 10 minutes after HITT ended his set The Fool had came on stage with a very sexy intro at that =P Before Gunji started to sing he spat water onto the crowd which hit me and a couple of girls around but to be honest  it actually felt nice since I was sweating like mad.

About halfway though their set Gunji tried to crowd surf twice. The first time was quite successful but the second time he landed right on top of me and I caught his mic but hey I wasn't complaining ;) he was very apologetic though and made sure us people in the crowd were okay.

When they ended their set and walked off stage the crowd automatically yelled out encore for a good 5 minutes they returned like I knew they would :) and performed one last song which got the crowd going insane!

Altogether I have to say the show was amazing! Gunji, Taca and Goo reached out to the crowd after the encore to thank us I was able to receive a handshake from Gunji and a highfive from Taca which was sweet at one point earlier in the show I got pushed forward by some girls and part of my body landed on Goo but he was really nice about it and checked to see if i was okay. When the boys got off stage we were informed that they would be signing autographs after the show and at the q&a which was the following day. My friend and I were able to get an autograph and picture with HITT but were told to come back the next day for The Fool.

Just ignore the fact that I look extremely tired in this picture =P

The q&a was bright and early the next day

This is a screenshot from what I recorded. Some of the questions asked were things like Whats your favorite Anime? to How do you keep your skin so smooth and pristine =P

At the signing I I was able to score a hug from the three which made my day :)

My friend (Valentina) caught the pic Taca threw into the crowd the night before which he was very happy to see ^_^

My friend actually recorded our little session with the guys which I thought was awesome and Gunji even laughed at my boyfriend who was also taking pics because the flash from his camera was intense =P After The Fool performed another set outdoors which I stayed for only a bit and I'll admit I danced along. I do plan togo back to Anime North next year and I hope they come back to play another great concert.

community / new temporary header

As you can see there is a new header. I got annoyed by the older one but by lacking finding pictures of all three of the members that I'd like to blend in together or lack of size, I decided to use this gunji picture as a temporary layout. I'm also thinking about creating a new bunch of icons as I finally have photoshop back. Would you guys be interessted in them as well? If so, I'll share them on here. I hope you guys like the new header for the time being.
