About Us

The Equality Hub is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to telling stories of lesbian, bisexual, and queer Nigerian women and the wider LGBTQ Nigerian community through film.

We believe that storytelling has the power to change hearts and minds towards social acceptance and socio-economic inclusion. We invest heavily in visual storytelling; using film and other visual forms of storytelling as our major medium.

The Equality Hub was founded in 2017 and has produced a feature documentary (Under the Rainbow, 2018), a short film (ìfé, 2020), and a web series (Center Stage, 2022).
