Chaos Tower

This is a gamejam submission about a wizard on a quest to find and defeat the master of the Chaos Tower: The Chaos Wizard. You must make your way to the top while the rules of the tower set by the Chaos Wizard bend reality to try and break your body and spirit. Will your trusty note and basic magic be enough to face the chaos and madness of this cursed domain or will you succumb to the chains that bind you?

The tower has 10 floors with a boss at the end. Also the flashlight is a little more punishing than intended pick with caution :D.

Also beware that enemies can and most likely WILL spawn on top of you, since we had no time to add spawn indicators sryy.

WARNING PLEASE READ:

This game contains flashing lights and potentially jumpscares as well as very very mild blood, be advised. For better performance and visuals it is recommended to play the downloadable version since browser might experience slight lag and worse graphics since some shaders do not work.

P.S. You can aim the sniper and flashlight with the mouse.

CONTROLS:

W - Up

A - Left

S - Down

D - Right

E - Use Item

R - Switch Item

F - Blink ( When you need to blink )

DAY 2 BUGFIXES:
- Fixed issue where weapon range will alter between floors

- Fixed multiple rules not activating

- Fixed outside fog not detecting the player

- Fixed menu layering visual bug

- Fixed item slots not updating after consumable use or addition

- Fixed broken collisions at some parts of the wall

- Fixed an issue where the game crashes after the player dies sometimes

- Fixed a crash that happens between scenes sometimes

- Fixed an issue where an easter egg broke the game

AFTER-JAM QOL UPDATE:

-Added spawn indicators for enemies

-Added a slight delay before the first wave

-Added floor counter

-Made the boss more visible if flashlight is obtained

-Made flashlight a little easier

-Fixed projectile pierce issues

-Made it clearer that the rules of the game change/get broken each floor

-Slight balancing changes to some of the rules
