Their myspace is totally gone and I'm really craving their music.

today the Cadets updated their myspace page to say that they will be supporting Athlete at Shepherds Bush Empire in London on the 6th October and its a sell out show! two great bands and what a great venue! ebay it is for tickets...
is anyone going anyway?

Last summer was when I first got into the Cadets and then I kind of strayed away from them. Now I'm getting back into them and I really miss listening to Disco Lights so if anyone still lurks this comm. and has that song, would you please send it to me?

Hello, all! My name's Amanda and I'm from the Philippines :) I first came across The Cadets on audiography a few months ago; someone posted "Disco Lights", and I loved it! There's something so dreamy and trippy about the song that makes me want to listen to it over and over.

Anyway, I just wanted to ask if any of you out there have any other Cadets songs to share? I've tried searching on teh internets, but believe me, even lyrics are nearly impossible to find! I really like them and would love to hear more, so if you could share some mp3s I would love you forever :) [I'm on dialup, btw, so loose tracks would be easier to download than zip files.]

The Cadets have a new song on their MySpace profile, called Pan And Wendy. Do you like it?

So this community isn't that active so I don't know if I'll get a response to this or not, but...I absolutely love the cadets, I think they are awesome! And for some reason lately, I find that I am like bands from the UK alot more then American bands, their music is just better in my opinion, and I love their voices due to the hint of their british accent, it's the cutest :) Another band from the UK I'm in love with besides the cadets, is the artic monkeys. they're amazing. So I was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions for other bands similar to those? ♥

Hey everyone! Thank you for joining thecadets. Feel free to post anything Cadets related to this community, don't be shy! So, does anyone know what's up with The Cadets? Haven't heard anything of them for a while (except that their official message board didn't work :*), and they don't post any bulletins at their MySpace anymore. Maybe their busy with their showcase things? (In case you haven't read it, Dan's answer to the question Are you planning on signing with a label soon? was "Well... this coming week we should have a showcase to a few. But shh, shh." Dan: Went to Albania for a week, and danced with the winners of Albanian Big Brother.
Jamina: Albania has a Big Brother?
Dan: It’s such a random little country.
Jamina: I know, I thought that’s where vampires came from but actually thats Transylvania.
Dan: Hahaha, that’s fantastic.

Dan: Did you guys watch the Super Bowl?
Janna: Yeah!
Dan: You guys have some prety rubbish sports.
Janna: Yeah, I don't understand them, I just watch. Do they play it in London?
Dan: No, we just sit on our fat arses and shout at the TV telling the best athletes in the world how to do their job.
