hey...can anyone briefly (or in depth) explain donnie darko to me? either i don't get it and i'm stupid, or i'm expecting more out of it than there is. thanks for any help :)

i think the takeover died

George W., Laura, and Dick Cheney are traveling in a small,
private plane.George looks out over the landscape and states ya know, if I
threw a $1000 bill out the window, it would sure make one person happy.
Laura replies if you instead threw 10 $100 bills out, you'd
make 10 people happy. Dick Cheney adds, but 100 $10 bills could make 100 people
happy! The pilot then looked over his shoulder and mused if I threw you
three people out, I'd make 56 million people happy.

Hope that provided a laugh.

hey everyone. its been a LONG time since i posted on the takeover. just wanted to say hello.

 Little Mary Margaret was not the best student in Catholic School.
 Usually she slept through the class.  One day her
 teacher, a Nun, called on her while she was sleeping.
 "Tell me Mary Margaret, who created the universe?"
  When Mary Margaret didn't stir, little Johnny who was
  her friend sitting behind her, took his pencil and
  jabbed her in the rear.  "God Almighty!" shouted Mary Margaret.
  The Nun said,"Very good" and continued
  teaching her class.  A little later the Nun asked Mary
  Margaret, "Who is our Lord and Savior?" But Mary
  didn't stir from her slumber.
  Once again, Johnny came to her rescue and stuck
  Mary Margaret in the butt. "Jesus Christ!!!" shouted
  Mary Margaret and the Nun once again said, "Very
  good," and Mary Margaret fell back asleep.
  The Nun asked her a third question..."What did Eve say to
  Adam after she had her twenty-third child?"
  Again, Johnny came to the rescue.  This time Mary Margaret
  jumped up and shouted, "If you stick that damn thing
  in me one more time, I'll break it in half!"
  The Nun fainted.

is this place dead? I'm the last person to update and i only have 1 vote. I hope this place isnt dead.its pretty rad. you guys should have themes.like once a week.people should think of themes and then people have to post pictures of that theme or right about something that is close to it.

we need to resurrect this place people!

hey everybody. happy thanksgiving! i'm so stuffed. i hope you all are too. i feel like i'm the only person that ever posts here :o\

i finally read the MCR article in december's issue of AP. i've had it for a while (i bought it for the thursday letter) but i just got around to reading it. and i really liked it. it's a little weird to me how bert from the used and way from mcr are alike. just their looks i think? meh, whatever. sorry for boring you all.
