Great Gatsby! Secret of Mana Theater has finally updated with a new episode: Special Edition 44: Setting Off. Plus, Spritemonkey gets a little ranty about the new Zelda.

Now I have to go back & watch about a hundred episodes to catch up.

There has finally been an update of sorts at manatheater.com.

For those who are unfamiliar, Secret of Mana Theater is a webcomic that uses the sprites from the game in a new, original, continuing story using flash animation. There are more than 260 episodes so far with many more to come. The author, Jerry Koudelik, took a sabbatical last September & has recently posted a news update. Let's hope this means he'll be producing new episodes soon.

In other news, I recently met a girl named Gemma -- pronounced like "Jema." I met a few other people that night, but her name is the one I remembered the fastest. Wonder why...

Seeing as the last post in this community was made back in june I will be surprised if I see any responses to this, but let me begin.

I love Secret of Mana. Let me revise that. I am obsessed with Secret of Mana. I have beaten that game 200 times. To this day I still play Secret of Mana, and over the past 11 years I have yet to tire of it.

I come from a past that has its share of horrors (I'll simply leave it at that) and Secret of Mana is a reminder of the better times in my past. I have spent too long dwelling on the traumas of my past and I need to remember the brighter times. SoM is one of those triggers that helps me to remember the better times.

This is why I am currently working on a tattoo design with a SoM theme. I have been looking everywhere of a images that could help me out with my design but I have not been able to find much beyond screen shots and the basic stuff that Squaresoft put out. I also have only been able to find one image of fan art that I liked. If you know where I could find some good fan art and/or good artistic interpretations of the main characters could you please let me know?

Augh its confusing trying to get everyones weapon skill up. Magic isnt hard to lvl up, but AUGH the weapon skill is HARD.

It'll take awhile till I get everyones weapon skill to the max.

Hi. Im new of course and im a bit into Secret of Mana. So right now im a bit half way done with the game, I dont know exacly HOW far I am but I know im starting to get pretty close. So yeah......thats pretty much it for now.
