The Chuck 100 word drabble challenge

Morgan was nothing if not dramatic.

“This, my friend, is a delectable bit of culinary bliss. Eat it—,” he paused, placing it before Chuck, “—and weep.”

“Which means I can take off the corny Karate Kid blindfolds?” Chuck asked.

“As you wish.”

Chuck bit into the sandwich of sliced corn beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing on toasted rye bread. As expected, it was…sublime. 

“This sandwich is…,” Chuck said between chews, “…really great, Morgan. I’m impressed.”

“Now, tell me: Have you ever had a Rueben that delicious?” Morgan asked.

Chuck suddenly stopped chewing. “Once,” he said.
