CRIMINAL MINDS RPG
| WHAT |
The BAU is a CRIMINAL MINDS role-play community taking place after the season 6 finale.CRIMINAL MINDS revolves around an elite team of FBI profilers who analyze the country's most twisted criminal minds, anticipating their next moves before they strike again. The Behavioral Analysis Unit's most prominent agent is David Rossi, a founding member of the BAU, who returns to help the team solve new cases, while pursuing some unfinished business of his own. The team is led by Special Agent Aaron Hotchner, a family man who is able to gain people's trust and unlock their secrets. Also on the team are Emily Prentiss, the daughter of high-powered diplomats who recently joined the team and must prove her worth to Hotchner; Special Agent Derek Morgan, an expert on obsessional crimes; Special Agent Dr. Spencer Reid, a classically misunderstood genius whose social IQ is as low as his intellectual IQ is high; Jennifer "JJ" Jareau, a confident young agent who acts as the unit liaison for the team, and Penelope Garcia, a computer wizard who helps research the cases. Each member brings his or her own area of expertise to the table as they pinpoint predators' motivations and identify their emotional triggers in the attempt to stop them. |
| HOW |
| The method of game play is LJ tagging. 1. Players collaborate on a scenario that they want their characters in. 2. One of the players starts the scene by posting a properly labeled (see rules) and tagged entry on the community. 3. All participating characters take turns contributing by posting comments (tags) to the thread until the scene has been concluded. To join: Players must be 18yrs of age or older. Adult themes dictate the age requirement. An age statement must be included with every application. -There will be no exceptions. Before filling out an application, please read the community profile and rules. Every application submitted is confirmation that they have been read and understood -most importantly, agreed to. Feel free to PM any of the Mods with questions and/or concerns prior to applying. Instructions on how to apply, including the application itself, can be found here. | All canon characters are to begin with the history provided up until, and including, the premier for the show’s 2011/12 season. Characters that previously exited the show as well as minor characters will be canon up until their last appearance. Crossover characters based in the Washington D.C. area or who frequent the D.C. area in canon are welcome to pick up from their 2011/2012 season premiers. Original characters (OCs) are welcome but must be made to fit in accordingly. And while there may be other BAU teams at Quantico, no additions will be made to Aaron Hotchner's team. In addition, OCs or crossover characters that bear any influence on someone else’s character (ie. someone from a character's past) must have that player’s approval before the character can be accepted. Unless of course it’s the player who is creating the original character (i.e. Rossi's player creating Rossi's ex-wife). Current Cast of Characters Spencer Reid...
