The nice people over at hanson10yrs have got a project going on to celebrate Hanson's 10 year anniversary as well, so if anyone still checks this place and wants to contribute to their project, feel free to do so.

ALSO, our little book here is going nowhere quickly. I'm not even sure if we can still do this before May 6, but if the guys aren't touring until June/July, then we have a little bit more time I suppose. So if you still want to write something, please do so as a comment to either this post or an email (thankhanson@gmail.com or adenisehahn@hotmail.com if you feel so inclined). I for one really want this book to happen (I spent quite a bit of time writing my own piece and I don't want it to just sit here), and if you want it to happen, too, then GET WRITING! And tell your Hanson fan friends. Thank you :)

Well it has been awhile since I have recieved an entry of any kind. I just wanted to see if people were having any questions or thoughts on this whole thing because it seems pretty dead right now.

My internet is now working but now I am having issues with my photoshop. Grrrrr. It is just one bloody thing after another, isn't it?

I am hoping to have this whole internet connection problem cleared up within the next few hours, but somehow, my gut is telling me it isn't going to happen. Comcast has proven to be the retards of the cable internet fixing universe!

If, for some reason, I cannot continue this community I will hand it over to one of my friends. :( I don't want to, but I might have to!

I am sure I will be on later today and possibley tomorrow because it seems to work for the rest of the day after they come to 'fix it'.

Hey all! We now have about 6 entries! :) ROCK ON! Including one REALLY well done art piece... sweet!

Anyway, I have been aked a number of times about how to submit something from people who are NOT livejournal people. Welp.... if you are not into livejournal please e-mail your submittions to thankhanson@gmail.com. (And for those of you who check that mail *COUGHAPRILCOUGH* please mark new messages as UNREAD after you are done-- so I know they are new!)

As far as artwork goes, I don't really care what the size is as long is it is uploaded to a different site when you first send it to me (I don't want to have tons of files downloaded to my compy.) so use photobucket.com, tinypic.com, imageshack.com--- or any of those places! :)

Rae and I have started work on the cover and totally know what direction it is going into. It is going to be so beautiful and I think everyone will think it is awesome, at least I hope. I have also started work on the intro-- and it needs a lot more work.

Yesterday I settled on a size... 8.5x11 inches. You will see why it will be so large when we unveil the cover and the whole concept behind it.

I am going back to bed for a bit.

Rae is going to start work on parts of the cover this weekend (at least that is what she intends to do). If I get the parts she starts on then I will be able to start work on my part. :) Then maybe you guys will be able to see a sample of what it will look like when finished.

The entries sent in so far are wonderful and exactly what we are looking for. Do not be afraid to make your entries a couple of pages long or as long as you need/want them to be. There is no page limit!

I have started work on the intro-- it needs some work though. I am not the worlds greatest writer so it will take awhile.

For those of you who do not know--- Penny & Me is supposed to be about the fans love of Hanson's music or just music in general. Hanson wrote that song for all of us. So, I figured, all of us wrote this book for Hanson. :)

My friend, Rae, and myself came up with what the book is going to look like on the outside and as soon as everything is all worked out, I will post a small preview of the covers for feedback.

Let me know what you think of the name of the book. I honestly LOVE it and everyone I have showed it to loves it.

I am very excited, we have recieved two submitions today! :D Our first two!

However, you must remember to submit your email address, location and name. If you do not your story, letter, poem, or artwork will be put in without your name or location. If you want it placed in the bookas Anon. that is fine but PLEASE let me know that. I would like to be able to keep these stories in some what of an order.

I know there are many many monthes left in 2006, 11 to be exact. However, I cannot help but worry that we have not had a single entry or comment submitted.

I think that if someone submits SOMETHING we might have more people submit.

We still need ideas for what this book should be called! Please submit ideas!

Other than that, I'm going to start working on the intro for the book and possibley the cover, but I need people to start submitting things so I can get some insperation.
