Get out of our base RED. Seriously, how many times do I have to sit on tell you?

I'll take a graveyard shift tonight if anyone wants to trade. Anyone want to keep me company with some scary stories? Halloween is getting closer and that desert looks mighty imposing. Another voice would do me good.

It is finally starting to feel like autumn. Good news as it's gone from painfully hot to tolerably warm, but nights are proving a problem. I arrived at the base during May when things were only getting warmer and so I only have T-shirts and shorts amongst my personal belongings (and very few, I still wonder if I lost a travel bag on the train). There is no heating in my room and it drops to near 40 overnight.

I have first watch duty shift in early mornings (plus I run) and would appreciate it very much if someone has an old jacket or long-sleeved shirt they no longer use. I can't exactly wear pants without cutting up the legs otherwise I would ask for those as well.  I would not want to render anything entirely un-returnable.

In the meantime I suppose I can keep up with the Apollo 7 mission NASA been televising (a first!) - day nine of the planned eleven day mission. Now there's a job I would relish... FIRST MANNED MISSION! I can't believe we're finally making headway, we might just beat the Russians to the moon after all! Here's praying they make the landing safely.

I tried what Luigi did using my name. I got a Canadian restaurant chain that's been in existence since the fifties. If I ever get the opportunity I am going there and buying a massive plate of burgers. (tough luck Luigi. I'll get you some lunch too when I go.)

Has anyone seen my medigun? I have a feeling someone took it from out of my room.
I would appreciate it if it were returned.

...and I haven't slept since Five AM yesterday. Spent all night reading about various explosives and electrical applications I haven't even heard of.

I don't think it's quite enforced properly so watch out for false articles: I know for a fact we have not been to the moon yet. It's also telling me there's only eight planets in the solar system. Guess someone went and forgot about Pluto.

PS, I got an extra pot of coffee going as a result of this Wiki-encyclopedia so there's plenty for you guys who actually got sleep.

Would anyone reading this please keep an eye out for the telescope I constructed?  It's gone missing again. I've been keeping better notes for my belongings and this is still an issue.
