Movies 19-35

I am WAY behind on updating my list of movies. I'm fairly on track for the year I think. I want to have 50 by the end of June & I think I can do it. It's been so long that I don't really have thoughts on each of these to write but I'll list 'em all out.

19. 42 - awesome sports movie
20. Chicks with Sticks aka Hockey Mom (one name on Netflix but different on IMDB)
21. The First Time
22. Veronica Mars - LOVED IT!!! I was a kickstarter backer & looked forward to this movie for a very long time
23. Divergent
24. Local Boys
25. Fired Up - 24 & 25 were part of an Eric Christian Olsen weekend =D
26. Beautiful Creatures - BAD! I read the book & didn't mind it but the movie was awful
27. Planes
28. About Last Night (1984)
29. Endless Love (1981) I'd always heard about this one because of the young Brooke Shields sexy times "scandal." People should have been talking about how dang awful the movie is.
30. Adventureland
31. Fame High documentary
32. Where the Red Fern Grows I remember sobbing over this book as a kid but I handled the movie pretty well!
33. Draft Day I really liked this one!
34. Coach Carter
35. Warm Bodies

Frozen

Over the weekend I saw a tweet from a TV writer I follow challenging his followers to watch 100 movies in 2014. Sounds easy, right? The catch was they have to be movies you've never seen before. They can be new or old, smart or fluff, whatever, just new to you. I extended the challenge to Trece & Nessa and we decided to try & do a little write up about each one.

My first movie of the year was Frozen. It is a neat little Disney musical based on a Danish legend about an Ice Queen. I enjoyed the heck out of it. The songs are well written & well sung, there is a twist that I didn't see coming and it's funny & heartwarming. I especially love that it wasn't a "girl must find prince to find happiness" story.

Well there it is. My first lj post. Hope to hell this works.
