Writer's Block: Traveling Companions
What gadgets do you travel with when you’re going on a relaxing vacation? Do the gadgets you choose to bring tend to help you relax or keep you so plugged in that it’s hard to unwind?
I bring my iPhone for reading e-books and listening to music. My husband brings his e-reader for books. I keep my phone in Airplane mode, so it doesn't keep me plugged in. Though if I want to check email or messages, I can. But I usually choose not to.
We sometimes bring our netbooks along for watching movies. Again, though, with no Internet access so no distractions from the outside.
